Went for a work function in a large group. We arrived at 12:30pm, bread arrived at 1:30pm, and entree dishes arrived at 2pm. Not good, especially as wine was being consumed while everyone was starving. Food itself was quite good, but steak was over-cooked and definitely not medium as ordered. Chocolate pudding with mint icecream was delicious.
Service went from mediocre to bad after lunch as most of the group stayed on for coffee and more wine. Waiters kept trying to move us downstairs. When we eventually went downstairs, they kept moving us around because certain areas were apparently reserved. Not great treatment after you've spent $4k on lunch.
My fiance and I had dinner there last Saturday and were extremely impressed with all our meals. For entree we had the chorizo and octopus salad and spicy crab cake. For main a giant serving of lamb shanks and the special lamb rump (divine!). Will definitely go back again for a special occasion. The staff also made sure we were served in enough time, as we had a play to attend.
Went here for a business lunch but would make a lovely special occasion restaurant. Quite expensive (particularly the wine). Food was delicious, especially the chocolate pudding with choc mint icecream.
Beautiful and quiet restaurant, the waiter was very friendly and helpful. The food was magnificent, I had the octopus for entree, my husband the scallops. We both had the fillet steak for our main. For special occasion would definitely go there again.
We went to this restaurant for a work function. The waiter was very attentive. The scallops entree was absolutely delicious. Although in the upper price range the food was delicious - we had an entertainment card which made it much more affordable.
