Steak was pretty average, nothing special. Waitress brought wrong sidedishes and we got charged for it anyway. Instead of making a mixed sauce they just brought out two sauces and charged double. Atmosphere was very nice though but if you want a good steak for the price you are paying head elsewhere.
Good food, and good service. Best service is on weekday lunches, not many people and constant bringing of skewers. Only do the all you can eat meat menu, best value. Surprisingly, the seafood was probably better than meat, nice calamari and fish.
The worst restaurant I have ever been too. Churrascaria, What a joke! Waitress did not explain that salad and wedges are a separate price when your order Churrascaria. $19 for 2 veg/salads that you couldn't even attempt to devour from the terrible seasoning. What a rip off! Do not recommend! A big thumbs down.
Meh, what can I say, a Brazilian imitator? wanna be? I found the meat to be somewhat dry and a limited selection. Also it seemed the longer you stayed the less attention you got even if your table marker was green. We went on a Tuesday and got a little more bang for the buck but I wouldn't recommend paying 50 a head for the bbq alone if I were to recommend this place at all, did they have sangria.? I believe not, pity.
I went on a Tuesday night with some office colleagues, we all chose the Churrascaria menu. Food-ordered the calamari and scallops for starters they were well prepared, were one of the highlights of the course. The mains were unlimited in the Churrascaria menu, we sampled all of the meats and seafood.
I'd recommend to stick to the lamb, pork sausages and chicken. The fish ,beef, pork and calamari are simply not worth the space in my stomach. Desserts servings were larger than expected, but would definitely chose them over starters, recommend the black and white chocolate mousse. (in the Churrascaria menu, you have to chose if you want the starters or the dessert as the 2nd course).
Ambience-Classy decor, not very noisy, the LCD displays of the grilled meats kept you entertained! Service-We had a couple of wait our table, must all each one of them were equally courteous and prompt. Value-Great for half price, would definitely be disappointed paying full price for the same meal. Have to make a trip on the Tuesday to avail the discount though.
Will I go back again? Yes, definitely, only on a Tuesday though.
I was disappointed in the quality of the food. We weren't able to taste all 7 types of meats offered in the Churrascaria grill as the service was shocking, our table was being ignored while others around us were getting served and we had also been given a time limit to free the table up for a booking.
I had relatively low expectations when I went to this restaurant last week, as I am yet to find a really good Brazilian grill in Australia (my best experience to date being Braza in Leichhardt, NSW).
Even so, Bluefire managed to disappoint: the food is nothing to write home about, the service is slow and at $49 per person, the value is poor. Location is this place's only saving grace but the overall experience makes it less enjoyable.
In terms of authenticity, the variety of meats offered was not great, the seasoning odd (e.g., the cumin makes the Beef "taste like Indian" as per Luana's comment) and a number of must-haves like rice, black beans and farofa (fried cassava flour) completely absent.
But the maitre d's "I have no idea of what that is but I doubt it" reply to my usual "do you serve picanha?" question made it clear from the start this would not be an authentic experience. So I am not rating this as a churrascaria: for that price bracket, the food is ordinary by any standards.
Very disappointed. As a large table of over 15, we were ignored! Most of us left hungry! Wahat a joke. Drinks service was slow also. Would not recommend.
What terrible food I have even eaten. I am Brazilian and when you go to Brazilian restaurant you expect to eat Brazilian food. And the taste was like Indian food, but in Brazilian way that called (CHURRASCARIA), means BBQ. The taste of food was awful.
If they want to open Brazilian restaurant they must serve Rice At Least, we don't usually eat in BBQ restaurant with no rice. They try to do dining restaurant and BBQ, but does not make sense. BBQ - mean you pay a reasonable price, there is a buffet (with at least 20 kinds of different foods + waitress come to your table with thousands of different meats, chickens, lambs, sausages, etc). Fine Dining Restaurant - you eat in a big plate and very small quantity of food, and after that you go to Mc Donalds.
Hope you know what I am talking about, in this restaurant they serve you only BBQ and you eat with a piece of corn and small carrot. Very poor food, and hate the taste.
Bright eyed, went the Churrascaria. Started off well but even I was sick of meat after a while. Pretty ordinary service including attempted (we hope unintentional) rip off on the wine (putting a top price one on the bill rather than the basic one we had).
