I had high expectations of this restaurant but I was bitterly disappointed. It was a Saturday night we had a reservation for, and walking in at 7:30, it was near empty.
We were seated and the waiter (however, attractive and exotic-sounding he might have been) was a little too overbearing for the first few minutes, strongly insisting we select the churrascaria for our meal, saying it was the best value for money and spruiking the salad bar like it was something out of this world.
We agreed, thinking it would be nice to try something different, but boy, were we let down.
The lamb was red on the inside but too charred and so burnt on the outside it was difficult even to cut into. The chicken tasted like nothing. The pork was okay. Ham and pineapple was alright too, but it seemed too festive and out of place with all the other types of grilled meats on offer.
The calamari and fish were almost plastic in their texture, so rubbery they made me wince. And do Not get me started on the 'spiced sausage'. They were burnt to a crisp and tasted like a cake of salt. Ewww. The beef was the only grilled meat that I felt was up to scratch, because it had some flavour and it was cooked through without being burnt like everything else!
The salad bar was Not what a typical salad bar should be, with small plates of dips and vegetables that didn't even appear appetising. The potato salad which we were told was a speciality of theirs was disgusting. Peas? In a potato salad? And I'm pretty sure potato salad with cream is not meant to be lukewarm?!
We were planning at the start to stay for dessert but after such an awful experience with our main, we dared not try.
Then to top off the Fantastic night, we called the check only to then wait almost half an hour as our waiter contended with multitasking and a restaurant that was now chaotic and overcrowded with people.
The only plus side as my sister remarked walking away, (and excuse my vulgarity here) was that the waiters were hot. As in they were quite good looking. Unfortunately, looks aren't everything.
Never going back and do not recommend in the slightest. $49 pp for that nonsense is despicable. It was so bad it's even put us off from going back to try what's on the actual menu besides churrascaria.

A fantastic dining experience! I had never had churrascaria before but now would recommend it to anyone! So much food and lots of variety so there was something for everyone.

I have never reviewed a restaurant before but feel it's my duty to warn anyone considering trying Bluefire Docklands to avoid at all costs. If you are after dreadfully overcooked, dry meat cut with absolutely no flair by waiters who belligerently mumble something to you about "more?" then this is the place for you.
It all started with dry lamb and steadily worsened.
The pork was like eating a rock hard salt lick, the only good thing about the fish was it was hot, and the calamari was actually offensive. I would have been embarrassed to have served this food to guests. Avoid!

The concept of bringing meat off the grill to your table was awesome. I loved the sausages, lamb and chicken. Good service and great location. Overall a great lunch.

Unfortunately, we had our company Christmas party at BlueFire Churrascaria Grill & Bar in 2009. We prepaid the evening commencing at 7pm, and were quoted open bar until 11pm. On the evening at 9pm, the Maitre D advised the bar had closed, although our full bar tab had not be consumed. The restaurant refused to provide a refund or allow us more time to finish our Christmas night. The restaurant itself was loud. The food was too expensive and incredibly disappointing. If you want dry, over cooked meat in a sub-standard environment, I recommend the BlueFire Churrascaria Grill and Bar in Docklands.

If you have the entertainment book, visit this restaurant. My partner and I went, had wine and soft drinks, just no dessert. Total price just over $60 total! (not each)! Sure you need your entertainment book gold card but this is one of the places you could help justify a second entertainment book each year with.

Hi, My partner and I went to lunch last Saturday to celebrate my birthday. At first atmosphere and location is pleasant in your restaurant. However, service and food is absolutely horrendous.
The lovely waitress was doing her best, but that was all about service, as we noticed as soon as food started coming. Dishes and glasses were not very well cleaned. Dips plate was chipped in all different corners that we needed to ask to be replaced, as it was totally disgusting. Dips were split between the 3 containers: onions on the mayonnaise and tomato sauce on the mayonnaise. Onion was dead which we didn’t even dare to try.
Service appalling, once meat was ready: Pieces of meat started coming, but waiter could have been more tactful to wait until we had the time to taste some of what he was bringing. Literally almost every 30 seconds he brought more and more meat, not noticing that even our plate was full.
Meat flavor and texture was the worst. Beef was burned, tough and cold. Fish absolutely terrible, dry and probably the worse eaten in the cheapest fish ‘n’ chips place. Calamari was rare, lamb and pork also tasted old. We thought that this situation was occurring maybe because we were one of only 3 tables serving on this side of the room.
We didn’t want to complain in part because waiters seem to be doing their best with no management personnel visible or in charge. I didn’t want to ruin my birthday either. I’m sure that many people comment to you about this extremely poor service for the standards expected in this city and location. We certainly won’t go come back again, and we’re sorry for that. Please take note of this.

I had high hopes for this restaurant but I was bitterly disappointed. Service was pretty much non-existent. It took 1 hr to get water for the table after asking numerous wait staff, only to be given 1 glass to serve 8 people! Considering this is a grill, the meat was average. At times dry and tasteless. The best part of the evening was the dessert, chocolate mousse cake and chocolate tart were delicious! Overall however, I wouldn't bother going again, pretty expensive for what you get.

Extremely poor value for money. The restaurant was almost entirely empty, and yet our large table was treated as though we were pests and in the way. The fan broke down half way through the meal, and the entire restaurant was filled with smoke.
The meat (according to my partner and his friends) was undercooked and cheap, and don't even get me started on my vegetarian dish, four luke-warm side dishes slapped together on a plate. One quarter of a plate of poorly cooked mushrooms, a quarter of blanched broccoli, a quarter of a plate of beans, and a few leaves of spinach. At a price that ended up at well over $35, it was certainly one of the more expensive, and most poor value, salads I've eaten.

Steak was pretty average, nothing special. Waitress brought wrong sidedishes and we got charged for it anyway. Instead of making a mixed sauce they just brought out two sauces and charged double. Atmosphere was very nice though but if you want a good steak for the price you are paying head elsewhere.
