Does well to capture some of the spirit of the essential Parisian bistro, thought the waiters are quite friendly. An expensive wine list aimed fairly at the capabilities of the local purses.
Excellent oysters opened to order, an extremely dry duck breast (surely not magret as advertised?) salad with a plain dressing and quite a few hazelnuts, an excellent plat du jour of moist tripe, and a firm crepes suzette sans flambe unfortunately. Coffee poor.
Great!, a bit noisy but thats part of the atmosphere of the place. The staff are almost as good as it gets and match the atmosphere perfectly and are more than happy to have a bit of a chat with you, probably derserve a 10. Very happy with what I had to eat and they do some very nice traditional French meals, all in all it was a very good night. While it is not by any means cheap you certainly get what you pay for and I have eaten at other restaurants that are as expensive if not more so and haven't had as good a time or meal. Coffee was EXCELLENT! hope it will be as good on my next visit. You get my thumbs up Thierry.
Had a wonderful dinner the night before the Cup. Was busy and buzzy. The service was great and the people really helped made the evening, food delicious, really took me back to France. A gem and highly recommended.
