A modern interpretation of Turkish food inspired by the ten years I spent growing up in Turkey. The venue has a contemporary and comfortable understated design and is open five nights, Wednesday to Sunday and Saturday and Sunday brunch from 10am onwards.

New menu and decor look much better and they seem to have addressed the sound issues. Chilli prawns were fantastic and the service has really improved.

The roasted pumpkin dip was to die for but it went downhill from that. There were 6 of us and we ordered the food safaris at $35 a head, we got the exact same portion as the couple sitting right next to us, which included 3 dips and a serve of bread, 2 skewers of meat and a claypot. Naturally, we had to get more food elsewhere afterward.

We went on a summer night and the heat inside was pretty bad, maybe its a ploy to get you to buy more drinks, but it would've been a lot better with even a fan inside.

Good food and great for sharing, although the service can be a bit iffy, we ordered the basic banquet for our group and wanted to add on a couple of additional claypot dishes but were told this would be a problem ("it's not our policy" apparently, according to the waitress). Not sure what kind of restaurant has a policy that customers are barred from ordering extra food but she eventually persuaded a very reluctant kitchen staff to cook our order for us, it did seem a bit as if they were doing us some massive favour.

Probably not somewhere we'd go back to after that. There's plenty of restaurants in Melbourne where they actually let you order what you want so I don't see the need to go back to one that makes things deliberately difficult!

We love this place! The food is beautiful and the service is great, it does get a bit noisy though but it has a great vibe. Highly recommended as one of the best restaurants in the East Brunswick strip.

We've been here a couple of time over the past two weeks and both times it's been incredibly good. In terms of quality and price it's basically unbeatable in the area. The space doesn't really make you want to hang around, it gets a bit too noisy to talk, especially if you're in a bigger group, but there's some really nice bars on the same block where you can do that anyway! Being it's in my hood, I can definitely see me becoming a regular. Highly recommended.

Every time we go we end up having the banquet which results in a seemingly endless flow of the most delicious food I have eaten in a long time. The service is down to earth and friendly. We're going again for my wife's birthday and I can't wait!

We got ripped off on our bill, noticed when we left the restaurant there was a mystery bottle of wine on the invoice which we never ordered or received. Phoned and was promised (with great apologies) a credit which we are yet to receive.

Been to it twice and had most enjoyable time on both occasions, food was very nice and the menus are quirky and strike up a chat with present company. Although something is missing, but I can't put my finger on it exactly, perhaps, because it is on the larger side for Melb it lacks a little ambience, not sure. But we will visit it again I am certain.
