Wow, this is a keeper. We went based on the reviews and found it to be terrific. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the service was good and the food was wonderful, all at a very reasonable price. What more can you ask for?
Excellent service - very friendly staff and prompt. The food was delicious - the chicken lobster pie WOW! It was not expensive and it’s very affordable. This is my new dining out favourite, can’t believe I hadn't been sooner. Authentic French food and wine I recommend it to all.
The food was delicious and very well presented. The ambience was also very nice. There is French music playing and the whole place looks very French and clean.
The specials list was read to us and I did not understand most of it! Maybe it's just me because I'm not familiar with French cuisine?
All in all was pretty cheap for a French restaurant and the food was very good. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to try French food.
Several visits over recent times. The food is fairly standard French favourites, done pretty well. Nothing too "out there". The service gets a little hit and miss when the restaurant is busy but the staff are affable, and willing to let me practice my French a times.
This place is really special to my husband and me. We had our engagement party here and we have been regulars since proprietor Stephane Pettier took over the business as Francos. For beautiful, affordable, yummy eats you can't go passed Aux Battifoles. I love their escargots and I have a special order seafood platter each time I go there. If tartiflette is on the specials board, you really must do yourself a favour and order it! It is to die for! And for dessert, Stephane's tarte tatin is just divine!
