    I hate being hard on local restaurants but in this case I just cannot recommend this place. We dined here recently and in a smallish restaurant there was ourselves and one other elderly couple dining. They soon left and we were the only ones in the place.

    Despite this, service was slow and the waitress the most surly, uncommunicative waitress I have ever come across. She really made no effort whatsoever to do anything but the bare minimum.

    The food is pretty ordinary. It says "Turkish" but really it is more mediterranean and the dishes were very bland. The "feta" salad was a big bowl of lettuce leaves with 5 liitle cubes of feta in it. The calamari main course was another big bowl of lettuce leaves with maybe 10 calamari rings sort of swimming in the salad dressing at the bottom of the bowl.

    The mixed grills were bland and short on meat. What was good were the garlic prawns and the bean salad. Desserts were a mixed bag, possibbly the worst baklava I have ever had and one of the better turkish delights I have tasted. This place is a real shame. I was excited to see a new Turkish restaurant in the neighborhood but this place is barely turkish and the food is poor.
