This used to be our go to place to eat in Willi but after having had 4 bad episodes with a combo of poor service, unexpected poor standard of food and what seems to be a slide downward in the care factor, they will no longer have our business as a special occasion big group eatery.

What happened?? This place used to be my favourite for the greatest pumpkin soup I have ever eaten. I used to crave that soup. Unfortunately when I went recently it was lukewarm and bland, no bread was served with it and the service was colder than my soup.

The meal sizes are huge, feel they could have a smaller menu and do what they do well better (fritto misto below par, also the risotto - everything else we have had just great!!). Serving some parmesan in a bowl with pasta and risotto meals would be a great addition.

We try to meet our family here once a month to catch up. It's a great place to eat and you are made feel really welcome.

I travel to Melbourne quite frequently and always make my way to this lovely little place. The food is always great, fast service and is good for small groups or a dinner for two.
