We tried this place when most other nearby restaurants are booked out. The staff were friendly and very attentive. One advice, order the Pizza! The dough is amazing and ingredients were very fresh. One of the best I've ever tasted! However, I wouldn't recommend any Asian dishes as they are greasy and boring apart from the portion is generous.

The services were good and fast and prices are reasonable. For the conveniences, vacancy and Great Pizza, I will go back time and time again!

I was completely dissatisfied with my experience at Airstream recently. Over the years Airstream has always been a place my girlfriends and I go for cake and snacks but there has definitely been a deterioration since those glory years. Or maybe I've just gotten wiser.

They brought the wrong wine out (but to their credit, replaced it with the wine we ordered without fuss). They brought out the wrong entree to the one we ordered. I couldn't be bothered arguing so let it be, but it cost me an extra $10 to the one I had actually wanted. It tasted Ok.

My thai beef salad was a disgusting combination of stir fried beef with an incredibly heavy sauce for something that is meant to be light and tangy and ordinary looking greens. It was missing an ingredient or two that was listed in the menu description. It was the second worst thai beef salad I have ever had, but the portion size was generous.

It also had some random thick dressing on the salad leaves. My friends steak was 'chewy', the chips were soggy and her salad also had the random thick dressing which she found unappealing.

Pros? the waiter was lovely, service was prompt without being pushy. But $85 later I have learnt my lesson and will definitely never be going back.

Went here last night and ordered singapore noodles - boiled noodles with water sauce would have been a better description. Awful. Horribly noisy and I kept getting knocked by the wait staff as they grabbed plates from the table or put food down. I won't go here again.

I was at Airstream yesterday with a friend, very disappointing we ordered two french martines (I don't think there was any vodka in it) it was like normal juice. Then we ordered an entry, which was good, and thereafter a main, when they brought the main they did not bother to clear the entry dishes. So we had our mains with the entry dish on the table. I have been to so many restaurants I have never seen anything like this. Furthermore, the wait staff seem to be a hurry and it was not even 9 pm. I don't think I would go there again.

Very good value for money, the food was really good considering the price and how busy the place is. Service was very good, the waiting staff are attentive, the managers are very well organised and keep a close eye on things, helping ensure everything runs smoothly.

To sum up this place I would describe it as average, you get a decent sized meal but the food can only be described as ok, nothing exciting. The atmosphere is loud which is ok if your in a large group but not great to be able to talk to others or if your looking for a private setting as a couple this isn't the place. Overall I think its ok to grab a quick meal before going to see a movie or maybe to grab some cake and coffee after a movie but not to make a night of it.

Went with a group of eight. Service was quick, everything came out at once, food was really tasty and filling. Relaxed place where children seem welcome as we had a pram which the waitress ensured we had a convenient table for. Calzones are fantastic, open souvlaki was excellent. Try the dessert pizzas, very interesting but they work well. I agree the place is noisy, but when the food is good and the prices are really reasonable of course it will be busy and noisy. Wood fire pizza oven keeps the place lovely and warm. Have been several times, will happily return. Have been several times, will happily return.

This place is more awful than good but if you're not fussy about food or service then this is a convenient enough place. The food here is lousy and needs to improve. The risotto is gluggy and don't even think about ordering the 'oriental basket' (essentially some frozen spring rolls and what not reheated, or at least that's what it tastes like).

Getting water on the table is virtually impossible on some nights. The staff act like it is a favour that they would bring it to you, if at all. It's interesting that they come quickly to take your order but never return when you ask for water. There was once a waitress, to my amazement asked if we wanted water, I was flabbergasted and later found out it was her 1st week- go figure!

Overall I would not recommend this place but it is conveniently located in Glen Waverley.

I went here numerous times and just tried to ignore the fact that there were a lot of flaws, but the last time was a shocker and I have sworn to never return. The chicken parmigiana was still frozen in the middle and my vegetarian pizza arrived with ham. This was after a long wait. The waiter was rude and hostile when we complained and did not even apologise. Other visits have seen the service typically slow and the noise level unbearable. Definitely somewhere that I will not return to.
