Gave it one last try and have to agree with all of the other comments. Food quality has slipped badly but the prices have gone up which is sure sign of trouble as they are now cutting corners on quality. The boss or owner also looked disinterested to us and was more worried about sitting out the front smoking, swearing and drinking coffee with his mates than he was about the quality of the food and customer satisfaction. The guy on the counter was nice and polite and smiled when we asked him if the owner actually did anything other than smoke and drink coffee. We saw him yelling at the staff like a Gordon Ramsay which is a bit unfair as they only serve the stuff, he is the one who cooks it! Waitresses are still polite and nice but are fighting a loosing battle with the stuff they have to serve up. We copped the pre-cooked pasta as well and it was bad. It is even worse now that they have jacked up their prices. It's a shame, because this area is screaming out for a good quality Pizza & Pasta venue and this one just doesn't cut it. This joint is going downhill fast.

We went for a late lunch with our 7yo in tow. We were the only customers in the restaurant. The food was passable, just. The garlic bread was burnt. I mean charcoal burnt. My husbands pizza was basic but we struggled to find any cheese on it and the crust was definitely crispy. My pasta was also well cooked and obviously precooked it was that stodgy. On the up side my sons chips were hot and our drinks were cold. The waitress was polite and friendly, when we saw her. Either the owner or the boss had a couple of mates at the front watching the cricket and we had to go and ask them to stop with the 4 letter swearing, to his credit the guy behind the counter did apologise and seem contrite, but that kind of atmosphere is not acceptable, even if the mates had have been paying customers they should have been asked to tone down the language. There's nothing good enough here to bring us back.

Went on a Sat nite. Very poor kitchen food. Quality and portion size has slipped but prices have risen which is not a good combination. They used to serve pretty good pastas etc, but it seems that they are trying to increase profits by cutting quality. Not all bad though. Pizzas are quite good. Outside dining area is great and waitresses are bubbly and polite.

Pity about the quality of the stuff coming out of the kitchen. The kitchen boss appears to be always angry and is always yelling at the other staff. They were really good as a cheap basic Pizza & Pasta place but seem a bit out of their league now. Will give it another try though.

Very disappointing pizza. One pizza was slightly burnt around the edges and they all had hardly any cheese on them. The Aussie had probably half an egg on it.

Been here a few times and there are positives and negatives. Positives are the service. We've come mid-week on a couple of Wed and Thurs nights and the staff have been delightful. The waitresses are young, polite, friendly and make you feel welcome.

The food is ok to good, but agree with the other comments regarding smoking out on the balcony. I've also been for lunch and again the service was warm and friendly and the food was quite good as well. One thing that was slightly off-putting during the afternoon was that there were a couple of young boys running in and out of the kitchen and helping themselves to toppings from the pizza bar. Not a good look. Prices are Ok, they are not cheap but not too dear either. All-in-all it is quite passable and we will return again.

Yes the pizza is delicious, just a pity they have ditzy 16 year olds employed. Service is non-existent to the point where I would get better service at mc donalds! Don't bother making a complaint to the manager because he laughs in your face and then charges you an extra $3.70 for the coffee that you paid for in your bill but never received! Did not appreciate the line 'your pizza is ready at the front by the way' after asking for a new pizza to be made as they had given it to the table next to us, left it there for 5 minutes then realised it belonged to our table and tried to give it to us saying 'come on, none of them touched it'. Absolutely disgusted in the service.

Great , absolutely great, no pizza or pasta comes close any where in Vic, of course there are a few problems but all in all can not ask for a better dining experience , young waitresses very helpful and caring and brilliant food , very well priced.

I agree they have awful customer service I rang up today and was put on hold for 5 minutes my 14 mth old is a bit sooky from the heat so I had my phone on loud speaker trying to settle her when they came back to the phone I was sitttng right next to it and tried to give my order and was then hung up on the first time I thought maybe it was a mistake but after the 3rd time I rang and asked to speak to the senior staff and was then abused and told they don't want my business all I tried to say is I think something is wrong with their phones as I keep getting hung up on and there the only place to ever have trouble hearing me even on loud speaker.

First the abuse by the senior staff was uncalled for he could have been alot calmer and nicer about it if you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen! customer is always right and that is no way to treat a paying customer, will never ever return there.

This place has had it's problems since they changed over from 20 odd seater in station st to where and what they have now but the quality of the food there is second to none, you can tell they don't cut corners when it comes to the ingredient they use and all of my experiences of late have been great, they have fixed the alfresco by extending it and having two separate areas, one smoking and the other not smoking.

The staff are young and vibrant and I seen first hand the senior staff and kitchen staff rip his staff like gordon ramsay for attempting to send out food that was not up to his level and then do whatever he could to make the customers happy in the mean time, you don't get that these days, people are just in it for the money, these guys care about what we eat.

Agree with the other reviews. One of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten, I mean how hard is it to make a pizza? Full of smokers on the balcony who were not asked by any staff to stop.
