We ate here about a month ago, before attending a gig at the Corner Hotel. The saganaki entree was good, but our seafood platter for two was disappointing, rubbery and not exactly fresh. The service was rushed and brusque, as if they were doing us a favour. We had to yell our wine orders at the rapidly receding back of the waiter, who then became defensive when he got it wrong. Later on he magnanimously said he "forgave us", crikey.
This is one of my favourite Greek restaurants in Melbourne, and one of the most reasonably priced in the "Little Greece" strip of Swan Street, though prices are moderate rather than cheap. Top food, great platters and attentive service in this small restaurant (but there are tables upstairs). Deservedly popular and hard to get bookings on a Sat night.
Nice place, food was good. Service was very prompt and friendly. Very good value for money. The environment was warm and enjoyable. If you have never been there you are missing out. I will go back again with my family and for romantic occasion just with my wife.
There was no "wow" factor with the food at all. It was all quite bland and boring. Service was good though (very prompt) but not value for money. Sorry guys.
