Worst Italian restaurant I have been too. Service was hideous, we walked in at about 10 pm with plenty of spare tables and mentioned we would like to have coffee and the waitress turned to talk to her boss who scowled and took her time deciding if it was ok for us to sit down.
The waitress didn't bother to show us a menu and simply took our orders. The coffee was average and the affogato was appalling, it had some sort of crushed nut and sweet cheap liqueur poured over the ice cream. Last time iIchecked and affogato was an espresso poured over 1 small scoop of ice-cream. Not to mention the $12.00 they charged for it!!

Don't stop just walk on by. Went here for dinner 15 Feb 2008 for the beginning of a girls weekend in Sorrento. The restaurant was very busy and so we weren't too annoyed with the 30 minutes wait to take our orders. So the meals all arrive except for my "twice cooked" duck, try to get the waitress attention, and finally she races off to the kitchen to check.....20 minutes later my duck arrives nicely sliced breast spread across the plate, crispy skin, and completely raw breast meat.
Again no luck getting the waitress attention so I take it back to the counter and ask that seeing the meat is completely raw they just take it off the bill and also bring us the bill... we have now been there over 2 hours. Within a minute the woman in charge comes racing out to our table with a string of abuse and claiming her chef is 5 stars, what ever that means? and I would have no idea how twice cooked duck is like, I suggest that it is actually cooked? Which of course started her off on another string of abuse much to the amusement of the surrounding patrons.
I suppose what was more off putting than the raw duck breast was the attitude of the staff, in my experience if the kitchen has made such a blunder and I understand this can happen on busy nights having worked in this industry is to apologise to the patrons, take it off the bill and, perhaps, offer complimentary dessert or coffees, not scream abuse at them.
If you want a enjoyable night in Sorrento try any number of cafes and restaurants but just walk on by this poor excuse for a restaurant!!
