This is a somewhat typical yuppy pub with a lovely old fashioned atmosphere due mostly to the old collectibles dotted around the place. The food is not bad at all and constantly improves. The cobb loaf with olive oil & balsamic vinegar is very moreish and I do not share it with anyone!

The serving sizes are generous and while the staff are sometimes a bit slack at remembering everyone's orders and at serving everything together, it is not a bad restaurant at all. It is especially nice to go out on the back balcony in the winter with the heaters on, if you don't mind all the smokers desperately huddled out there.
