Visited this place for dinner last Saturday night. Overall food was edible, but they should consider serving traditional Lebanese food rather than 'modernising' it. One of the things I ordered was Fattoush salad, it was a small portion for approx $11. No value or flavour. I can make a better Fattoush and I'm not Leb!

Bad service. You had to be one of the lucky tables to get food otherwise it was a long time between meals. Looked upon negatively if you asked for a particular type of meat that was on the menu. Definitely not worth the money. Will not be going back.

Went there for a birthday celebration. Asked for a price on the mudcrab platter and was eventually told $140. We ordered two of these and one was fine whilst the other had a crab which was completely empty and never should have been served. Instead of dealing with the problem the maitre de decided to ignore us and one of my guests overheard a chef referring to our table whilst using the 'F' word. They eventually offered a couple of free desserts which they then tried to renege on.
Long story short, we will never return.

I have eaten here for a long time now and if your a lover of fine Indian food like me then this is most certainly the place to get it I cannot speak highly enough of taste and freshness of the food I think if you try this place you'll agree with me. Awesome food!

Waited 45 minutes for breakfast which was 3 serves of the mushroom caps, that never arrived. When I asked how long our meals were going to be (after 45 minutes), the staff attempted to fix an obvious stuff up by telling me I didn't order properly and rushed 1 plate of sautéed mushroom on toast to us as we were walking out the door.

I would prefer they tell the truth and own up to making a mistake. We did have some coffee, which I only got 1/2 through because how bad it was. The coffee was made worse by looking across the street at the 'campos' coffee sign at another cafe.

There was no toilet available for customers, only staff.

I was very unhappy with Cafe Marinara and won't go back. There are so many other options in paddington to get good food and service.

When we went for dinner there were two sittings - the early or the late each lasting for 2 hours.

The waiters come to your table and carve the various meats straight on to your plate. And they keep on coming.

It seems that people have had a mixed experience with the food but we were happy enough although we could have done with some more sides - not that we had room for them!

If you like your meat and want a lively experience that is a bit different to your normal restaurant then this is the place to go.

My husband and I had lunch today and were really impressed. A great selection of fresh foods, something for everyone I would have thought. Desserts were a little bit of a let down on everything else (bit of "boxed cake" to it) but frankly, we were so full at that point it really didn't matter. Really enjoyed the little pot of chocolate mousse and the bread and butter pudding, the perfect finish. Also appreciated the readily available chilled water bottles for the table, served with a warm smile. Thanks guys! We'll be back!

I purchased a Spreets deal for $49 to receive a style cut, Moroccan oil treatment, a half-head of scattered foils and also $100 in vouchers for future services at Refrescaté. To get to the point, I was very impressed with not only the service, but also the result of my stylist’s hard work.

I arrived to the salon early, and was almost immediately offered a beverage for while I was waiting. My stylist then sat down with me and had a proper examination of my hair (which is quite fine and very thin), and she respectfully offered me her suggestions for making the most of my hair, i.e., how to shape it, general maintenance, etc.

Amongst her recommendations was that instead of using bleach/peroxide for my foils, that I give blonde-tint foils a try. This is a technique I’d never heard of, but I’m glad I gave it a go because the foils turned out just as blonde as I would have hoped using any product, and not using bleach was definitely a plus for me because I’m always worried my fine hair will dry out too much and look terrible. No such issues with the tinted foils though, my hair feels absolutely amazing!

However, that may also be partly to do with the Moroccan oil, but still, I think the tint foils are a great idea. The other major highlight of the service I received at the salon was the quality of the style cut I received. My stylist really took into account what I wanted for my hair, and gave me, perhaps, the most flattering cut I have ever received. She really personalised her technique to suit my hair, and not the other way around, probably the reason I’m so happy with the result!

So all in all, I was very satisfied with my experience at Refrescaté Toowong, my hair feels light, beautiful, and bouncy. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxing, the service was wonderful, and quality of work was evident, so I now feel I can put a lot of trust in the expertise of the staff at Refrescaté.

Despite the extra costs I would have to pay in future, I think I have been convinced that even without a voucher, the quality of the service, which I was provided, would still great value for money, and everyone needs a little indulgence anyway.

Every time I touch my hair I can’t help but smile! I definitely will be making another appointment in the future, and I would certainly recommend Refrescaté.

Don’t do it! Despite the food being lovely, I cannot believe the disgusting service my friends and I received at Libertine. When you’re paying 5 star prices at a restaurant, you expect high quality service right? Well the staff and owner of Libertine disagree. I was shocked and appalled at the attitude and behaviour of the staff and owner at Libertine. We were disappointed that firstly we weren’t told it was a two hour sitting – and why would we expect it when we’d been there before and sat at our table for a good 2.5 hours! On top of that, we were quickly ushered away when our meal wasn’t even finished, a staff member spilt a sauce on my friend’s dress, they didn’t offer dessert or any drinks once we were moved, a waiter slammed the menu’s on our table and kept walking, the bar staff proceeded to bash the crap out of several bags of ice right next to us, and when we expressed our disappointment, the staff grumpily shrugged us off and said “Fine, I’ll get you the bill”. We spoke to the owner who did not apologise, but rather came up with every excuse he could find to basically blame us (the paying customers) for our unsatisfactory evening. In all my life, I have never experienced such terrible management!

I found the seafood buffet to be great value for money! There's a vast range of foods and the quality is great! I've been to the $50 seafood buffet somewhere else and the range was woeful! Broncos is so much better and so is the price.

Whats not good? well the place could use a spring clean, there has been some unused junk around for ages (like the espresso machine which I have Never seen in action in the 6 years I have been going there). The lady that runs the joint could do with a personality injection, and the menu needs some evolution.

Apart from that this is the very cheapest and best value sushi place in brisbane even if the sushi is not "traditional" if you want that, flights to tokyo are really cheap at the moment. The $2 days are great and you can order what you want off the menu. Get rid of the grilled corn though.. 1 whole corn cost 99c, one half glazed and grilled corn is $3. You can fill yourself up for about $20 and green tea is still free.

Very disappointing. Over priced. I had Salmon with white polenta, asparagus and hollandaise, sounded lovely but nothing worked. The Salmon was blah, as was the Polenta. My partner had Waygu rump with shoe string fries. The steak was under done, better than over done but the char flavour was not nice. The fries had some sweet seasoning on them, almost like a sweet chicken salt, not nice.

Drinks were expensive, the wine by the glass selection was poor. The service was one plus, friendly staff but not enough to save this place for us. We spent $120 for 1 entree, 2 mains, 1 side and 4 drinks. I honestly could have made a better meal at home, but that is not what you go out for, is it?

Clearly a beautiful and memorable location. Building well maintained. Food prior to 2011 was absolutely magnificent and I would have rated 9's on every aspect. I took 2 clients there for a Sunday lunch in January 2012. I didn't appreciate being greeted as "mate" (I am female and yes, I was a regular at Summit Restaurant.

I was embarrassed to have been recognised and referred to as a regular). It's not like I ask them for a VIP discount! On this day, the service was bad. The current menu is the worst I have seen it in 10 years. There must be a new licensee. I won't take client's there again.

Very disappointing, terrible service and bland food.

We attended for lunch on Sunday 8th January without a reservation. The cashier/ door hostess was abrupt and gave the impression that they were booked out. After much mutterings and further curtness she decided we would be allowed to stay, an honour and privilege well above what we deserved. She never explained what the procedures were, set prices etc. Set us down and walked off. She gave the impression that she had better things to do. First impressions indeed!

The general staff were polite but unfriendly with exception of possibly the maître d’. The food was ordinary, chicken was flavourless, the three meats were bland and surprisingly not as tender as might be expected. The dessert taster was fantastic. Overall we found it to be unfriendly and overpriced at $108 for a 2 person Sunday lunch with one drink each.
