Looking at all the rave reviews, I wondered if anyone had been here in a large group and had an experience like ours. We went for lunch in a group of 12 and had requested the private room. When we arrived our table was set up in the main dining area as they claimed our request was not in their book. The private room was empty and they were not very busy, so I assume they thought it easier on themselves to seat us with everyone else.

When the waiter had taken 4 of our 12 orders, he dashed off to the kitchen, and these meals arrived 20 minutes before the next 4, then 2 more appeared a while later, then one and finally another one. The food was very good, when we got it, and inexpensive at under $20.00 per main course and up to about $9.00 for desserts. Drinks were your typical, inflated restaurant prices.

There is an outdoor dining area off the street also. As one of the ladies pointed out, only the gentlemen's toilet had a sign on it. I would go back there again, but only in a small group, which apparently they are more capable of handling.

Fabulous food, beautiful building and environment with fun and cheeky service. Best place I have eaten in the Highlands. Must have hand made tomato jam and persian fetta on organic sour dow. Also check out some of the produce for sale.

I could easily rate this as top 3 fave restaurants in NSW! I went to S.highland with my bf for the weekend and ended up having 2 lunches and one dinner at Post because we love it so much. The chicken pie was soo yum.

I booked this for a Sunday lunch with friends from Canberra, all were mightily impressed! The food was wonderful, refreshingly different and very tasty. The service excellent.

I took my wife here for a birthday dinner after we had spent the day driving around the South Coast and Highlands. We went on the basis of the reviews below. Gee it was good! The food was great, ambience was very nice and the value was terrific. The menu is a little left of centre, even for Modern Oz. Everything we had was delectable, and perfectly prepared and presented. Fantastic! Service was let down a little by a rather cool and remote (even if efficient) waiter.

We were driving past and found this place because we were looking at the park next door. Stopped and had a great dinner, ended up staying longer than expected and got back to Sydney late. Not a huge menu, but ours was great and the other tables seemed please too. Its an old post office converted over, so the ceilings are tall and there is an outdoor eating area too (we sat inside). We loved it!

I have had breakfast and dinner at this restaurant and the location next to the park, the friendly greeting from the host Chris and the food which is unbelievable for a place like Moss Vale. I am from Sydney and this restaurant whips the vast majority of Sydney restaurant's I have been to. If you don't believe me, try for yourself !!!

The coffee is good and this is one of the few places in Moss Vale that does breakfast. As for dinner, we've tried the souffle, soft shelled crab and waygu medallions and the desserts are awesome too - like Banana Tartin and Belgium Chocolate Pot.

As you can see, this is not bar food and is thoroughly recommended for anybody in the area who stays at B&B's like I do when I visit relatives in the area. Now Moss Vale has something to be proud of. Congratulations Post.
