Dined on Wednesday just before Xmas with the restaurant a little over half full. Went just for mains and ordered Cape Grim eye fillet with green beans side and chips while my wife went for the Barramundi. Pretty expensive but absolutely delicious in every way. Perfectly cooked pasture fed Tassie fillet with a generous serve of red wine jus served in a small jug. Sumptuous green beans in a butter sauce and great chips. The Barramundi with crispy skin was a delight accompanied with a squid and celeriac and had normally pretty critical diner full of praise. A classy feel to the place, lovely outlook over the manicured golf course and attentive but unobtrusive service make it a must do for a special occasion if you find yourself in the Hunter wine region.

Highly recommended. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing, we went for dinner. I had the eye fillet steak. It came out perfect. All round pleasant experience.
