The food was awful. Not many places serve breakfast in the hunter, but this is certainly one to avoid. Cold toast, over-cooked sides drowned in sauce in attempt to cover the multiple mistakes. The staff were quick to apologise however, you'd think before it was served you would look at the food and question whether it is up to standards. Food has to be better then what the customer could prepare at home, and unfortunately these guys are well off the boil, except with their poached eggs which are nice and rock hard...

We love Curvee. We enjoyed a lunch there recently on a sunny Friday afternoon. There were only a few other people there, so we had the best of service! We have visited Petersons often (although have only eaten at Curvee a few times). On the weekends it can get really busy, so I would suggest making a booking if you are planning on eating there on the weekend. It’s a super busy estate on the weekends! The tasting plate was really yummy. Highly recommended! The service is also amazing. Very attentive.

Beautiful restaurant over looking the vineyards with a group of friendly and welcoming staff. I ordered the quail tortellini as a main and my husband order the steak. I must say, mine was shockingly small. I only got about 7 tortellini altogether and they were just your average sized tortelini. It was delicious, especially the broth in which it came in. However, my husnand's steak was massive! He enjoyed it thoroughly as it was cooked exactly as the way he ordered. We shared a dessert which was also lovely. We will definitely go there for lunch next time we visit the hunter.

We came here for breakfast on both days we were in the Hunter. It was perfect the first day. Being a Friday, it wasn't busy at all. I had the Eggs Benedict, which was quite nice. My partner had the Nuts and Spices, which has dukkah in it, which he quite enjoyed. We then went and tasted some wines, bought some Dukkah and a Merlot and off we went.
We came back on the Saturday and were asked if we had a booking. We said no, and the waiter seemed to be a bit annoyed at this and then took us to the table.
I had the cinnamon pancakes and my partner had Nuts and Spices again. He found that it wasn't quite the same as the previous day, mainly that his spinach was uncooked where it had been cooked the day before, which made it strange to eat. I couldn't finish the pancakes fully as I found them a bit dry, as the first one had honey and the others didn't. Also, the ricotta wasn't quite sweet enough.
Overall we enjoyed our time at Peterson's and would return, but would book next time on a weekend.

Had lunch there on the 27Feb with a group of 6 girls, was nice, small portions though. Scenery was beautiful also the decore. Only issue was the waiter on the day. Very rude, and sarcastic. Older Gentlemen. Day would've been perfect if it wasnt for his snobby behaviour.

Had a nice lunch here on Friday and the food and service was great.3 glasses of wine, mineral water bread, and we shared an entree tasting plate which was $40.00 which I think was a little over the top,and after devouring it in 5 minutes that was it and a $75.00 lunch was over. I think I will try something else on the menu that maybe a little more satisfying. We will come back here again as it has a nice outlook.
