This is a lovely place. It is stylish and elegant, and it is where beauty meets great service. It is here where the food is great, for breakfast one day you could have bacon and eggs, the next could be muesli and fruit. ( Palazzo Versace fruit i might add.) The wide variety of food will appeal to anyone, whoever they may be. We are so lucky to have this wonderful establishment in Australia. This is a massive go-to if you are planning to go to the Gold Coast.
This buffet is without peer in Australia. I've dined here more times that I'd care to admit, and the quality and variety of food is truly outstanding. The extensive selections of seafood, cheese and desserts are a highlight of this beautifully crafted showcase, where you really are spoilt for choice.
Service is slick and professional, whilst also being very friendly and intimate. After our second visit, the waiters were aware of my daughters favourite drinks, and presented them with flourish without being reminded. I have also dined here with friends and work colleagues, and the service adapts seamlessly to accommodate all customer needs.
And a word of warning, you must dine here more than once because you will, without doubt, be unable to sample most of the delights on offer. And that would be a shame. And if the food and service aren't motivating enough, visit so that you can dine in the beautiful surrounds of the Palazzo and enjoy the rare luxury of dining with Versace crockery and cutlery. Not something that most mere mortals get do everyday!
For those of us from interstate, a visit to this restaurant is more of a 'must-do' than a day at DreamWorld. For those who are lucky enough to consider this a local, we envy you!
I have am very hard to please in dining experiences, but one stop to Il Barocco changed all that, I don't go anywhere else on the Gold Coast as nothing satisfies Me than this restaurant, great food, great service, great value.
