First time writing a review for a restaurant.
This restaurant serves one of the best seafood buffets in Australia. For seafood, it includes boiled crabs and prawns, smoked salmon and fresh oysters, a very nice tandoori fish and nice mussels. The curry is very good also. All this for $59 pp is pretty good if you combine with the $20 voucher you get for staying at the hotel brings it to $100 for two people is what I would like to say value for money.
I liked the ambience setting which the restaurant has selected for morning and dinner. It does not have a fancy violinist but I can live without one. The breakfast buffet is particularly good for having it combined with virgin blue holidays package and saves us around $160 for breakfast over the duration of 4 days.
Finally I would like to say that based on the reviews that I've seen for this restaurant, it has come a long way and should exceed many guests' expectations.
PS dining on Christmas eve is expensive here.

Had breakfast while staying at Watermark and liked it. It's worth it if prepaid. Had dinner and it is quite expensive for what you get. Food is good but not worth 59!

Had the buffet breakfast here while staying at the watermark. I know its hard to comment on this, but they had a really good range of food available. There were also chefs at your service for any omelettes, poached eggs etc. Was a good start for the day!

Mediocre offerings for this all-you-can-eat-'seafood' buffet, with the emphasis not on seafood. If you like sliced ham, tomato wedges, soft serve ice-cream for dessert.....well... you get the drift. And the atmosphere? What atmosphere? Much better elsewhere I'm afraid.
