This place is only a shadow of what it was, ridiculous prices for a small front room on gold coast highway, probably the most expensive Minestrone soup in Australia considering the restaurants ambience and location.

This place is by far one of the best I ever had
but their service and attitude is screwed up.
They need to change their ways
with table service and attitude.
I say just get take away and don't dine in.

What a pity! The fragrance emitting from this establishment drew us to its doors. It was an early Tuesday evening and our family of four, comprised of two adults and two young children, wished for a swift and easy meal. It was not to be.
There were several tables available however they decided that a booking later in the evening could not be risked through our presence, so we were advised that there was no place for us.

There was no offer of a wait or even advise relating to the take away menu. We resorted to taking the family to Hooters for a mediocre meal, there at least we were welcome. As we wandered home the empty tables at Trio Romano remained empty. Perhaps this resturant should have hedged its bets on that evening!
