We went for dinner on a Wednesday night and the ambience of the new industrial style fit-out was very pleasing. The service was good and the food was fantastic! I'm not sure if they have changed things since the last review about menu's catching fire, but there were no such issues. They did have lovely burners on some of the tables, but they did not seem to be hazardous. All in all, we had a really nice evening.

In response to the last review I definitely disagree! I've been there a few times and have found the staff to be friendly and helpful with the new menu.
The new fit out of the venue is beautiful; I especially love the use of all the wood and brick. I also found the food and drinks to be great value, keep up the great work guys!

This place rocks, its nice to have some were to go to relax and have fun. Very impressed with concept and the feel of the new fit out.

Staff were very helpfull and suggested food and drink items for us to try. Food was fantastic and the cocktails were amazing.

Food and beverages were very reasonable and over all it was a great night, I would recommend trying.

The new fit out of Tonic is excellent and the food is great but that is where it ends unfortunately. My guests and I had a fire at our table when the menu flicked onto the tea candle which was just in a shallow holde with an exposed flame. Two tables up from us the same thing happened. Instead of assisting and removing all the candles, the staff just laughed and re-lit the candle saying 'oh it won't happen again'.

The staff were vague as to the menu and took ages to flag down. Three times we had the wrong drinks bought out to us and only when we said something did the bar staff realize. The food is gorgeous though. Beautiful fresh prawns and yummy breads and all presented really well.

I have given it 10/10 for value because we were grossly undercharged. It was only when left later that night that we realised. So if it doesn't burn down, they will go broke unless something is done about the staff.
