My husband and I came here for lunch and its definitely a great sign when there are many japanese customers dining here.

We started off with mixed tempura and then ordered soba dishes each. The portions here are tiny! The tempura batter isn't what I am used to and you get 4 small pieces of veggies and 2 prawns. Soba was nice but for the price you pay I didn't think it was value for money and we walked out very hungry (and I don't think that I eat large servings!)

A bit disappointed but I might give their Sydney restaurant in Neutral Bay ago next for dinner.

I love this restaurant. Totally authentic. The soba noodles are hand made, on the premises, from organic Tasmanian grain. Their speciality is Udon or Soba noodles -and they are delicious, hot or cold. They also have the usual offerings, tempura, teriyaki etc. Their 'combo' meals are very good value, under $20. They are licenced, also byo (wine) with $3 corkage p/person. Always busy, booking advisable. Serving staff are excellent. Very hard to fault this restaurant.
