I always love eating here when I visit the Gold Coast from Melbourne as there are not many Vietnamese restaurants here. The service is always nice and friendly. I like the fact that they have the traditional Chinese dishes for my friends who are not so familiar with the Vietnamese dishes but the Vietnamese dishes are still authentic and delicious.
Reading the below comment, I'm sure their carpet is very dark and seems new so I don't know how it can be 'black' in places, and the restaurant is generally clean and tidy. Also, they are always happy to top up the side vegies or the yum peanut sauce that I get with my rice paper rolls. I will definitely be back next time I'm on the Gold Coast.

The food here is just ok. I had Beef Pho, my husband Combination Beef Pho. The soup stock itself was quite tasty but I was very disappointed with the fresh herbs, one tiny little sprig of coriander, with about 3 leaves, which was to be shared between us, and the Vietnamese mint was old, limp and tough. The beef in the Pho was not very good at all.
Instead of nice paper thin strips, it was rather big chunks that looked that appeared to have undergone a lot of 'tenderising' by some means. The thing I dislike most about this restaurant is that it is very dirty. The outside window sills and glass windows look like they have never been cleaned at all. The backs of the chairs, behind the seat cushion, and the chair legs were filthy and the carpet was revolting, almost black in places. I always wonder what the kitchen is like, when the 'front of house' is so poorly cleaned. We will not return.

Thanks for the tip! Spring rolls are fantastic, as is the rare cooked beef salad, sweet and sour soup, grilled pork chops with lemon grass (nice lean chop). Really child friendly place, great for an interstate visitor like we were. Make sure you save room for the deep fried ice cream. Our kids loved it!

Excellent, clean, fresh and authentic food at extremely reasonable prices. Service is great and the salt and pepper squid is to die for.
