Absolutely terrible. I would go as far to say it is the worst food and service I have ever experienced. Firstly ordered two pizzas. They were utterly disappointing. The pizzas bases were obviously specials bought from Coles (right behind this restaurant). Topping? Not really, obviously they don't know to use mozzarella cheese or melting cheese because it was all clumpy and cold. Want prawns on your pizza? Forget it unless you want to Peel your own prawns from the pizza, do these kitchen staffs have any idea? For $22 this was the worst money I have ever spent.

Also ordered a salmon dish, ended up with flathead and they even tried to charge us for it. When we mentioned it was the wrong dish they offered to give us a 15% discount, fair enough, until we got the bill. Our bill was completely wrong and they have even charged us for more expensive dished that we didn't order. When we asked for them to amend the bill, the main woman in charge was extremely rude and took another 10 minutes to amend the bill, which was wrong yet again, actually more than the first bill as she took our 15% discount off.

And one final thing, where do they take their table water from - the chevron pool? Tasted like pure chlorine. Absolutely disgusting excuse for a restaurant.

Do not eat here! Took 10 minutes to be given menus. They did not bring out water which we asked for. They brought us beer and wine which was for another table. The waitresses do not write anything down and therefore stuff up everybody's orders and have no idea what table they are supposed to go to.

Ordered a $17 Rump steak "special" and an entree sized Pasta Arrabiata. It took over 45 minutes to be served. When it arrived the steak was covered in gravy even though we asked for no gravy. The chips was soggy and cold. The pasta looked like someone had vomit in a bowl and we asked for Fettuccine and it arrived as Penne. The steak had clearly been microwaved and thrown in a frying pan to give it colour - it was also full of gristle.

The couple on the table next to us waited 40 minutes just to be served their garlic bread starter! What a joke. Don't bother complaining because the wait staff are rude and disinterested, the chefs have no idea what they are doing and would be sure to be confrontational if you did make a complaint about the food.

When it came to paying they had no idea what I'd ordered and relied on my honesty. The menu prices are outrageous, many items in the high $30's and even some in the $40's, its hidden in a laneway of the Chevron piazza - so no justification for the prices. Clearly this business relies on the tourist dollar and not return customers. Don't make the same mistake I did!

Was there on Monday 12/04/10. Great food, grilled Morton Bay Bugs were fantastic. Wife had Lobster Mornay, loved it. Service was good, staff were attentive. Good wine List. Name seems to have changed, Ristorante Renaissance.

The food took too long to come out, when it did it was the wrong meal. The waiters were too busy talking to girls and trying to pick them up. Don't go there.

Very rude staff, expensive and undrinkable coffee. Be careful not to order their big breakfast that includes a so called 'free' coffee that you end up having to pay extra for despite the fact you couldn't drink it because it was so bad...
