I organised a function at Omeros for approx 20 people. They were very flexible with the booking arrangements, catering for the usual changes in numbers at the last minute. Furthermore, Omeros were happy to allow my guests to chose from the a la carte menu, which was great, but also somewhat unusual for a function.

One the night, the service and food were fantastic. Every one of my guests complimented the venue and commented on the superb quality and freshness of the food. Highly recommended.

On a recent holiday I dined here and it was one of the best dining experiences I have had. Not only was the setting and decor comfortable and inviting but the service absolutely impeccable. The food was simple but well thought out and cooked perfectly. The service was spot on. They were incredibly accommodating for dietary restrictions. Great value for the quality, especially in comparison to other local options. A Thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Disappointing. Nice venue & bar but disappointing food for the price. Marinara with their special home made pasta and sauce was one dimensional and well below average. Schnapper was also nothing special for the price. Ciabatta was excellent but you would not just go there for the bread!

Perhaps the best dining experience on the Gold Coast imo. Recently enjoyed a pleasant evening dining on the boardwalk with very good & friendly service. The snapper I chose was sensational while the Moreton Bay Bug meal selected by Lil Neecy was very tasty. Fresh steamed vegies on the side were prepared to our liking. We dined there mid-week so it was relatively quiet and peaceful under dim lights overlooking the marina. Definitely try it on your next visit.

Frankly, it was awful. The signature in the 'signature salad' accompanying the snapper was far too personal - a latex finger guard typically used by chefs to cover their band-aid's when cooking.

My attempts to notify a waiter of the problem were almost as tragic as the latex finger ring - I resorted to tapping one on the shoulder to get his attention after 4 waiters walked past me doing their best "there's something more interesting over their" impression over a period of about 5 minutes. This place may have its good days. This wasn't one of them. Won't be back.

I am hongkonger and visited this restaurant for lunch. I sat at outdoor with excellent pier and ocean views. I ordered a steak with medium rare. The steak was cooked very well with tailor-made sauces. Besides, my wife ordered the pumpkin pasta which was also good. The desserts were also delicious. Remember to make a reservation prior to go becasue less tables were avaliable for walk in.

The best lunch I've ever had in Australia. I went here for lunch with my friend, their service was great, they did what I ask to put extra chili on my food. The ambience is great, we stay inside with good music looked to the bay. I took the set menu, more than great value I have to said 36 AUD for 3 course menu.

Omeros Bros has won numerous food awards, but... does the food deserve it.
Entrees are small to medium serve. My husband ordered the Seafood Chowder, and I ordered the Salt & Pepper Calamari. Hmmm the Chowder was creamy filled with plenty of Seafood, but the serving was small and arrived in a general white dessert type bowl. The seafood was very fresh (no fishy yesterday aromas, here). The S&P calamari was nice but I'd tasted the same in other restaurants.

Our main meals; I ordered Tasmanian salmon on a sweet salsa and my husband ordered 'Moreton Bay' Bugs. The bugs were served on a bed of rice with a creamy lemon garlic sauce and barbecued to perfection. The 3 bugs were large and were full of succulent 'melt in the mouth' white flesh. The salmon was tender with a Morrocan style crust served on the bed of salsa. It was fresh, sweet, and cooked well.

Whilst our meals were a good size, I noticed that other table's meals come without vegies or salad and I noticed only about 1/2 big fat chips to go with a small fillet of barra etc (obviously the fish & chip meal), Vegies and Salad will cost you an extra $3.80 extra on top of your $30 - $60 for your main meal. The wine was reasonably priced and the service was very good.

The ambience: you couldn't beat, I mean it's view over the Southport Spit Marina is brilliant. All in all, a very nice meal, but if you are looking for value for your dollar you had better try elsewhere!

I go to this restaurant on each visit to the Gold Coast. It is superb. Try the grilled Barramundi if you want a simple but excellent fish dish. As far as service goes nothing is too much trouble and all delivered with a smile.
