In 2008 Moo Moo was named Queensland’s Best Steak Restaurant and the Gold Coast’s Best Steak Restaurant for four consecutive years. In November last year, Moo Moo had a full refurbishment and welcomed new executive Chef Philip Edwards to the team. With Philip’s unprecedented talent in crafting amazing meals and owner Steven Adams’ passion for sourcing only the best quality beef, Moo Moo recently launched a brand new menu.
Moo Moo serves progressive Modern Australian cuisine specialising in premium export quality beef. The new specialty steak menu offers some of the best cuts of beef available in the country including F1 Wagyu Sirloin, Rump + Rib Fillet; Cape Grim Tenderloin + Scotch Fillet; Rangers Valley Scotch Fillet and Dry Aged Rib Eye on the Bone, Sirloin on the Bone and T-Bone.
A favourite is The Moo Moo Signature Dish - The Spice Rubbed 1KQ Wagyu Rump Roast which is rubbed w. chef’s secret spice rub, sealed until smokey on the char-grill and oven roasted to your liking. Moo Moo is also one of a select number of restaurants in the country serving Master Kobe Beef.

Two ordinary steaks. The eye fillet my wife had was tender enough but not tasty and lacked any juices?!
My Waygu was chewy, not on. Service was average at best. They seemed to know that what they were serving was disappointing and were happy we left without complaining.

I ordered the 300g wagyu steak with a side of broccolini and beans, and mashed potato with garlic and cheese. Very tasty, steak was cooked exactly how I like it. Our waiter was fabulous and very helpful and suggested a seafood dish for my friend, which turned out to be yummy aswell!
We were told beforehand that this restaurant had recently undergone new management and use to be terrible but obviously they have turned themselves around, hopefully they do not become complacent and fall back behind because I will return when I holiday in the gold coast again. Cost came to $150 for two people, we had a cocktail each, our main and dessert, pretty reasonable to me!

Service patchy. Steaks are Ok but by no means best ever. The sauces they upsell are truly disgusting. Our table of 6 tried the spectrum and they were universally bad. Ruined what might have been a nice steak. Wine list good but as overpriced as the steaks. Much better elsewhere.

If there was a rating below 1 for service, we would have used it. We dined there Monday 5 Sept 11, Food was ok to good. The service from both waitress's in the middle top was the worst we've ever experienced "Anywhere". Shame on you Moo Moos. You've lost some local regulars.

I would not bother going anywhere other than Moo Moo's for a steak when I'm on the Gold Coast. The boys in the kitchen know what they are doing and produce a cracker meal. The wine list is exceptional and has a great variety with good value for money. The team is very professional and myself or my friends have yet to receive bad service.
Value for money is unbeaten if you know the length and effort that is taken to source only the world's finest Wagyu Meat and present it on a plate with such class. All up these guys tick the right boxes when it comes to having a good meal out.

Dined on Sunday evening had a wonderful evening was our last meal on the coast before heading back to Brisbane. Wanted to thank the crew at moo moo as our food was amazing. And the service was friendly and warm big shout out too moo moo. Thank you, be back again!

Obviously in the land of the blind the one eye is king. Not sure why all the awards. This was a below average overrated, overpriced experience. From the bread rolls which were 25 minutes late and heated up Coles frozen rolls to the over rated tough steak. Why people award such overpriced and overrated restaurants is beyond me. However, I did manage to eat there twice in one night. The first and the last. Two words for moo moo. Poo poo.
Ps no salad no vegetables on the set menu which was not our choice. We were a group of 11. Hardly a kitchen staffs nightmare. A carnivores speciality for the socially savvy and less educated on fine food. All in all yukkie.

Meat was overcooked and under weight. Please be advised that there is a limit of one piece of bread per patron. In summary, over rated and over priced. Go elsewhere if you want a memorable meal.

Worst steak I have ever eaten. Also was at a table with 10 mates the Bill was $1250.00 to eat shoe leather, Waiter rude. Also after 40 minutes of sitting at the table had not even got a roll with butter when I asked for a roll they had run out. I ate there twice in one day "The First and the Last"

I ordered a medium steak, it arrived, well done. They took it away and brought a raw steak. Overall a very poor experience with very slow service and poor value for money.
