Worst Japanese "restaurant" I have ever been to, I went here with 3 friends for a classy dinner and based on advertising Mikado looked like it'd be what we were looking for.

The food was below average and the portion sizes were laughable, 2 friends got Teriyaki Chicken and it literally had 6 pieces of chicken and some rice for $20. In addition, the sauce was burnt and caramelised. The other 2 got a Vegetarian set menu, which included a Starter, Main of Tofu, Soba Noodles, Green Salad and dessert.

We only received the Starter and Tofu, then they gave us the dessert? When questioned they had no idea that nobody had received the noodles or green salad and brought them to us, no apology however. All in all, don't bother with Mikado, useless service, lower than average food and high prices make it unrecommend-able.
