We arrived at 8 pm on a Sunday and were served by a very rushed waitress. We had a dozen oysters as an entree which were nice, but not spectacular for Gold Coast tourist prices. Received our mains in record time and gulped down our crunchy hot chips and seafood as tables and chairs around us were packed away.
My snapper sauce was delish! But the portion size did Not reflect the $30 price tag.

By the time we finished our wine it was 8:35 pm, and after mentioning how rushed we felt to the manager, we didn't feel it worth our while to have dessert. I would most definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone who prefers enjoying their food, and the whole dining out experience.

Having eating at Max's Seafood I can totally recommend this great seafood restaurant. Lunch and Dinner are absolutely superb. Staff services is great. Seafood you would walk over hot coals for. Best place on the coast.

I am not sure why this place wasn't busy, the food was sensational as was the service. My Barramundi was perfect. My son had a kid's fish & chips which was huge for a kid's serve, so I had some of that too & the fish was beautiful. Do yourself a favour & try Max's!
