Everytime I come to visit Gold Coast my partner and I must always come to Lemon Grass. We have been coming here for 5 years and the food taste has never changed. The service is great here we always chat with the staff and have made great friends. Although the restaurant can get crowded as it is very small, I strongly recommend this restaurant.

The food here is always great and the service is good. It can get quite noisey when the restaurant is busy though. It is good value for Main Beach, although expensive for Thai.

I decided to visit this restaurant on a recent holiday in Main Beach after reading about the restaurant's awards and accolades. Coming from Sydney's Thai food mecca, Newtown precinct, my expectations of what was once "QLD's best Thai Restaurant" were high. Despite being one of the cheapest options on tedder avenue, it was priced on the high side for thai of its calibre.

What I did like were the curry puffs, possibly the first curry puffs I've ever had in a Thai restaurant that actually have a curry flavour. And the massaman curry, light and authentic with the most perfectly tender chicken, it was great. The service was sufficient and tedder avenue provides an atmosphere hard to beat in the area.

I would return to Lemongrass on Tedder but, perhaps, only after trying the other thai across the road.

Excellent Thai restaurant. Bookings almost always essential as it quickly gets packed out. Some unusual items on menu, always good to try something different. Basic dishes are still available. Wine list limited, BYO accepted. Staff attentive and in sufficient numbers to make the restaurant hum. Can get noisy if large groups present.
