What a wonderful dining experience, the staff are friendly, polite and accommodating. The restaurant decor is inviting and the food, well, the menu has choices available for the most avid foodie, what we chose was prepared to perfection, tasty, and left us quite satisfied. Looking forward to our next visit there. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience! I am a hard marker, but compared to most other restaurants on the coast could have scored a 10! The wait staff were very friendly and casual, but appropriately attentive and helpful with decision making. We had a hot pot set menu that was only about $40 each, and included two entrees of excellent tempura and a tofu dish. The hot pot had the most delicious tender beef and as much as we tried could not come close to finishing it! You could easily come here and just share a hotpot between 2 and be full!

I don't normally have dessert, but it was also included and the green tea icecream was brilliant, and the espresso with icecream was surprisingly good (I didn't know the Japanese made nice coffee!). I can't wait to return, a sensational meal!

Have been a few times to this Restaurant, on recomendations from family. The Food is Ok, not great. I have had better sashimi elsewhere on the coast. The Tempura is good, the other small dishes are ok (edamame/agedashi tofu etc.). I haven't tried the steam boat yet, but will when the weather cools down.

The service I have to say was poor, it was hard to get any of the girls attention both times I have been. The ambience is ordinary as well, we had a leaking A/c next to us and the overall decor needed a revamp. Overall mediocre experience.

Old timers says,.. Even though there were so much changes to this highly recommendable restaurant. In speaking of atomosphere, I like it the way in the past. As for Japanese restaurant this could be the longest operating & well established localised restaurants. It munches with Japanese taste as well as locals. I really enjoys the meal here cuz value for money. Hot pot is way to go in Winter! Have you tried Itsoshin-nabe?! It's original, unique & great seafood,.

The food here is of consistently high quality, which in itself is no mean feat. An interesting menu with a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes. If you are a true fan of good Japanese food, you will find excuses to come here frequently!!!

This is a very good place to have japanese food. You put together your own menu choosing starter, main course and dessert. The food is fresh and the servings very generous. You can bring your own wine or order from the wine list. It is absolutely value for money and we have not been disappointed once. We will keep going back.
