We went here after a days shopping. I had a delicious cocktail and my partner had a beer. I had the fish of the day which was great and the calamari was good also. Very busy when we were there but still got good service and the food came out fairly quickly. We will be back.

Went here for breakfast. The service was fast and efficient, I had the eggs bennedict which was fabulous. It had real hollandaise and soft runny eggs. To finish off had one of the best cups of coffee on the Gold Coast. I definitely recommend this place for breakfast. Will have to try this place for dinner.

Amazingly, it's been a year since I posted a review for this venue. Many of the (staff) faces remain the same, always the sign of a great manager/environment. It never ceases to amaze us how consistently great the food is (my current favourite is the smoked salmon salad, so yummy and healthy) and the service is still fast and friendly. Tell them Robb sent you!

December 1st 2009: We come here quite regularly, usually before seeing a movie at nearby Event Cinemas. The food is consistently great, my favourite is probably the seafood risotto, so fresh and tasty, with a nice drop of white wine (Sem Sauv Blanc) from the lovely choices available. Service is exceptionally friendly, polite and professional. I love it and based on other feedback from this and other sites, I'd say I'm definitely not alone.

We have been to the Groove Train several times now and every time have had a great meal and really good service. The pizzas and pastas are really good and the chicken cous cous salad is amazing. Good value for money too.

I found this place to have great ambience, good food, cocktails were fabulous and the service was excellent. I'll have to go back. I went back but this time I tried their breakfast menu. What can I say, the eggs bennedict were the best. Real hollandaisse as well. To top it off the coffee is sensational which is roasted at West End in Brisbane, and great tunes which adds a vibrant atmosphere.

Went to the Groove Train for dinner tonight, had the chicken parmesan, it was excellent, the cheese was nicely melted and it was a large portion. Was unable to finish meal so was completely satisfied. My partner had the rib eye and it was good to perfection. Will be back again.

First visit today and it definitely won't be our last. The staff were run off their feet but still managed to provide us with better service than anywhere else on the coast. Looking forward to our next visit.

We've been here to eat several times, and the staff are always very friendly and attentive, the menu has something for everyone and the meals are always fresh, tasty and very generous servings. The cocktails are great and reasonably priced.

Best coffee we have found in Robina if not the Gold Coast. I guess that is because these guys are a Melbourne franchisee, the Cafe culture capital of Australia.
Enjoyed a fantastic coffee and cafe after the cinemas (ask for the chocolate cake to be warmed up to melt the chocolate icing... yum). Their service matched the coffee, my wife now has a new favorite cafe to meet her friends at!

Update: Service has deteriorated rapidly and while coffee is good the food isn't as described on the menu. Better options just along the walkway.

Update 2: We've been back and must admit tho now very busy we had a great meal and excellent service. In fact the rib steak that three of us had was fantastic.

Went here as a family for our son's 17th Birthday. All of our meals were great and very generous servings making it fantastic value. The waitress was very helpful and the decor is really appealing. A little piece of Melbourne on the Gold Coast!
