Very friendly service, cuisine is authentic northern Indian with delicious tandoori. Vegetarian menu is varied and delicious. Extensive naan and other breads menu. Food is seasonal and fresh. Homemade ice creams and sweets, too! Incredibly affordable night out.

So I had read all the reviews online, and was a little worried that they may have been exaggerated. We decided to give it a try, as our last favourite Indian restaurant had really let us down recently. We had the banquet for two and enjoyed an excellent meal. The flavours were rich and exciting. We were so impressed with the quality of the food that this is now our favourite and we will visit often.

I'm a local lad who only ever gets the same thing but (butter chicken) but I can honestly say of all the local indian food I've tried in the area this one stands out from the crowd not only in taste but in customer service as well, extremely proud to call them fellow australians and I wish the all the best and hope you'll visit them soon to enjoy all the wonderful food and service they have to offer.

I can honestly say I have never been looked after better whilst eating out. On my last visit here I went with some "fussy eaters", the owner spent alot of time with us telling us what exactly was in everything and explaining the menu to us. Everything she recommended was yum.
My dad who thinks putting pepper on a meal makes it hot had a very very mild Roasted Toasted beef, and while the heat had been taken out of the food to suit his tastes none of the flavour was missing at all.
This has quickly become my favourite place to dine, its cosy atmosphere, great food, fantastic service and reasonable prices makes it the perfect place to go for a quick takeaway, intimate dinner or group get together.

Spent a lot of time in SE asia. This is one of the best Northern Indian Cuisine places I've been to in Australia. The food is exquisite, service Brilliant. I keep telling my friends to go.

The best kept secret on the Gold Coast. We eat there every second week and Pinky goes out of her way to ensure it is a great experience each time. Our elderly mother in law is blind and they go out of their way to ensure she is not disadvantaged. All dishes are terrific and you can always ask for Chilli on the side to ensure you have the right heat in each dish.

We ate at The Fragrance of India, solely on the scores on this eatability site. Living locally, it was convenient for us and we ate there on Fathers Day. I was amazed with the quality of the food. The service was impeccable and the prices were very reasonable. I couldn't fault the place and we will most certainly be dining there again shortly.

Tucked away in suburban Coombabah on Hansford Rd, is a real gem of an Indian Restaurant, the Fragrance of India. The food is authentic Indian flavours, at a great price. The service was excellent, courteous and friendly. The proximity of the restaurant to the local bottle shop was very handy as well.

I have eaten Indian food in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne and I am also a chef having worked with in quite a few Asian restaurants. I can say without doubt this is better than any Indian food I have eaten or cooked. Certainly the best Indian food on the East Coast of Oz. The service is also impeccable! Visit Fragrance if you love authentic tasting Northern Indian cuisine with warm family service. Handy bottle shop 2 doors down for BYO. Tandoori Prawns and Murg Navritan Curry are must haves!

Excellent service, great value, delicious food and always a great night out. Will recommend to anyone who loves authentic Indian food. If you never tried Indian food before, this would be an excellent restaurant to start off with.

We've been there 4 times now, each time gets better and better. They remember what we've tried before and like and what didn't work out. Makes it easier to choose new dishes, or stay with favourites. Everyone we bring to try also enjoys Ashok's cooking and the mood and service. Fragrance of India is a lovely discovery in Coombabah!
