We called in on a cold week night 7.30, there was one other patron dining alone, I ordered the lamb cutlets very lean (the menu said). When I complained to the waiter 'there was more fat than lamb", "he would tell the chef". No one came near us again and it was made clear they wanted us to leave as there was no other customers, it was 8.30. Bad service, bad food, bad value, never again.

What a fantastic restaurant....finally local produce cooked with passion. So much fast rubbish seafood on the Coast and this shows just what can be done. Great Service!!! awesome wine list. Coolangatta has finally got something to be very proud of.

What a delightful experience the seafood was exquisite as was the service and wine. Good to see a restaurant of this standard in the area, great value for money, we will be back.

It is good to see that the Gold Coast has now got a restaurant that serves fresh local seafood. On my first experience at Drift, I met Ben the chef and his passion food was unsurpassed by anything I have tasted on the Gold Coast to date.

My wife and I are local to the area and have made Drift one of our regular restaurants. Staff are consistently friendly and welcoming. The quality and presentation of the food is hard to beat in the Coolangatta area.

Getting somewhere during Wintersun festival was proving tough but Drift came through. Really excellent wine recommendation to go with our meal. Good service throughout. Food good too.

Consistently great, fresh food. Friendly service (they always remember us). Nice, modern feel. Reasonable bill due to BYO. Shame they don't do brekkie in winter though.

Very expensive, no crab served with meal, 15% surcharge on Easter Saturday (not a public hol). Lovely food but not worth $150 for Two. Service poor.
