Entertainment/Live Music

Every last Thursday of the month, the Currumbin Creek Tavern has a Jam Night where anyone is welcome to bring their guitar, voice, harmonica or any other instrument and jam. Along with this, the tavern hosts band nights, featuring artists such as Mason Rack and the Hipshooters; blues nights; rock nights. It also hosts nights such as Tyrell Red Wine Night and Jack Daniels nights.

The Currumbin Creek Tavern is primarily a pub catering to the locals with a restaurant and functions area on the upper level. It opened in December, 1997 following the closure of the Currumbin Hotel in the previous year. The Tavern was renovated in 2008 to further service the needs of the local community and allow for the changes in Queensland Government regulations (smoking legislation).

The Tavern now has two designated outdoor smoking areas and boasts modern bars, a restaurant, gaming room, TAB, Keno and function room facilities. The Tavern adequately caters for a large cross-section of our local community and surrounding areas. We have a courtesy bus available from midday Thursday to Saturday for the convenience of our patrons.

The Tavern Bar, located on the ground floor, has Bundy and eight varieties of icy cold beer on tap.
