Overview of Cafe Creole

You will need to push up a bit of a steep ramp but it sits opposite the beach with a nice view and has caring owner/operators. Inside or outside dining. Good food and good locale. There are bathrooms at the rear of building, not wheelchair friendly but someone can keep guard while you are in there. Enjoy.

Top little place. I can recommend the Jambalaya and Duck Mole. Never had a Mole before with the chocolate sauce but it was sensational. We ordered our food medium spicy and it felt it could have been a touch hotter but the Creole favours were really interesting and well balanced. Charming service and a really nice meal. Check it out.

We ate here during our recent stay in the area. This was the first time we had tried Creole cuisine and wow, it was fantastic. We discussed what to try with the waitress (who was also the owner!) and she suggested the Jambalaya and the Gumbo. Both were absolutely delicious. We also tried an entree of scallops which were cooked to perfection.

For dessert we had Key lime pie and a fig pudding, again both were delicious.
Overall this was an excellent dining experience. The food was delicious and flavoursome, the service was helpful, friendly and professional. We highly recommend the restaurant and will definitely be returning. It was the stand out restaurant in the area and we tried quite a few!

Wet sunday night, did not want to walk far and found this great place. Warm inside with food of an exceptional standard. I had the seafood chouder followed by an entree serve of salmon stack. Both were exceptional while my wife relished the seafood jumbla which was also well above average. Service was above the normal standard which resulted in a most enjoyable dinner. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious, the service was excellent. Any item was explained to us in detail so we knew what to order. We were there for my birthday and were made feel special. The key lime pie is to die for. Had to have 2 pieces with my coffee. Will go back again and again.

The oven blew up while we were waiting for our menus to arrive! Then we were told 4 dishes were not going to be available because of this. A very very long wait and our meals finally arrive. Beautiful food first time I have tried Creole food. Very flavoursome. A pity the service staff let the restaurant down as we were not even offered compensation for the long wait and not all menu choices being available. Also it is BYO.
