I went to this restaurant for lunch during Easter with my partner. We were lucky to get our food in a reasonable amount of time but another group of people who arrived before us was complaining because they waited for a long time and we actually got our food before them.

The food was very greasy and not very good in quality. They charge $3.95 for some mushroom sauce on your steak and another 50 cents if you ask for any dipping sauce. A tasteless iced coffee costs $6.50. The staff was very unfriendly when I ask about the Entertainment Book voucher which we can't use on Lunch Specials.

I then asked her to revise the bill based on other charges to get the discount but she just said she can't change it and it's only very little discount which is not worth it. Terrible service and I definitely won't recommend going to this place.

Came here whilst on holiday in Surfers. Was starving after a long day and we decided to head out and eat at one of the restaurants along cavill avenue. Saw the specials board 'half a rack of ribs, chips n salad for $2.95 and $9.95 for rump steak with chips n salad' me and 2 others decided these were good deals and to try them out. What a mistake!

The service was sooooooo sloowww, I wouldn't be surprised if there was only 1 chef on that night. Took 40 minutes to get our food and wowee what a shocker! The half a rack were the ribs you buy from woolies for $8.95 with some bbq sauce thrown on them and thats it. The rump was ok considering the price. But $23.95 for the ribs special was despicable! Would not recommend this place to anyone!

This place is appalling. First of all being a local, I am greatly ashamed of the customer service and quality of food. For those holiday making, don't bother coming to this restaurant.

Avoid this place! Don't let the "discount offers" tempt you! The waitresses were rude and our order got mixed up! We got there early to avoid the dinner crowd. We waited for 50 minutes and our orders didn't come, not even our drinks! We asked the waitress several times to check but she never came back. When she finally got back to us, she said the orders got mixed up and asked us to wait another 20 minutes! We were so hungry by that time, we just left! Will Never visit this place again!

We chose this restaurant due to it's location on Cavill Mall, great location at night we had buskers outside, music and lots of people to watch. I had the steak special which was good value at $11.95 and my partner had a caesar salad both were nice - no complaints and the service was quick. This place was the busiest restaurant by far along the Mall and everyone seemed happy, it had a good vibe to it.

Possiby the worst restaurant I have ever visited on the gold coast! Food was disgusting to say the least, salads were wilted and most food was frozen, and served stone cold.

Whilst eating dinner the kitchen staff came through the restaurant wheeling a shopping trolley of boxes and packages of frozen food that looked putrid, and took it straight to the kitchen! (I am pretty sure this is what they served us 20 minutes later).

The worst eating experience I have ever had, so overpriced as well. Please do yourself a favour and do not take one step into this place!

Eek! We made the mistake of going here on a recent holiday to the Gold Coast. The service starts off well but once they have your order you become a distant memory! The food is overpriced, order the specials as they tend to be reasonably priced. The food isn't great, especially the kids meals, they were just awful. The kids didn't even eat the chips they were that bad! Not recommended, sorry Billy Baxters!

I went into this restaurant with my aunty and my sisters and after experiencing quite a bad restaurant the night before I thought this restaurant was quite good.
The waitress who served us seemed to know about the menu and nothing was forgotten.

Our food was quite nice, the chicken parmigiana I had was very delicious, my sisters chicken schnitzel looked nice not greasy, my auntys seafood basket looked nice and fresh and the other meal was quite nice. All the staff carried more than three plates at once which was quite impressive. The only bad thing about it was that no one came to check if everything was ok. I wouldn't mind coming back again.

I would have to say this was the worst steak I've ever eaten in my life, tasted dry, and flavourless. To make things worse the salad was undressed and the steak came without any sauces.

Service was pathetic, I had to ask the waiter for sauce and dressing, and to my surprise I was charged for it as well! If sauce was extra, they should put it on the menu and also waiters/waitresses should suggest ordering one with their mains.

Service was slow, bad, waitress had no idea on how to serve customers. Gosh a 350 t-bone for $29.95 + $3.95 for sauce, I've had pub grub in Sydney 20x better for half the price. I would recommend eating next door at Seafood Empire, same food, 1/2 the price.

The waitress taking our drinks order a table beside us asked when they could take their order(Alarm bells should have rang). She was very new at working there and we could tell. But she was very helpful and tried very hard.
I ordered a vanilla milkshake and it was fantastic, cold, sweet and in a large glass.
We ordered our meal and was almost going to walk out after waited 50 minutes for our meals.
Not extravagant only pizzas, nachos, burgers and salt and pepper calamari. Way too long for this type of meal. All meals were poor except for the pizza. The calamari was frozen, and was expensive at $20, the chips were cold and the salad was wilted and not dressed.
You would expect this from a pub or club out west and would pay only $10. I complained to the manager on duty, his excuse was a faulty second till ( for the delay in the order). I'm sorry but it didn't make the food. An overall expensive, timeley and poor food experience!
Very poor for restuarant on Cavil Avenue. They won't stay in business long. They will struggle to get repeat business. A real shame indeed! The entire group felt very disapointed.
