We have a child with severe life-threatening allergies eating out if often a nightmare. The Staff at Baritalia were brilliant and bent over backwards to make something safe for our son that he would also enjoy. They took us seriously and we were never made to feel like we were an inconvenience. This is a top restaurant with authentic Italian cooking and impeccable service. We stayed a week and had dinner there three times. Thanks Baritalia you were one of the highlights of our stay.

Good work Baritalia. Regarding the comments waiting for a table and forgotten, well we too visited Baritalia during the holiday /Easter break and thank god for Baritalia. Yes they were busy and we too also waited for a table but it was well worth the wait. We’ve eaten there before, we go each time we visit the gold coast and this time was no different to any other time.

The food was amazing as usual, we did wait ½ hour for a table but the food is that good it’s all worth it! We’ve never waited before for a table, however, the restaurant was incredibly busy. Our favourites are the pizzas and yes we’ve tried them all, the seafood spaghetti and their antipasti menu.

Desserts are to die for as they make everything there, you have to try the tiramisu and the cannoli. Also check out the breakfast and their coffee is amazing. This place is a must when you’re on the Gold Coast.

We walked out after 40 mins after they forgot about us. They finally found us a table after I reminded them we were waiting and the waiter was so rude that we just ended up leaving. When they showed us to a yet to be cleared table it was clear that plenty of other tables were free and we also saw about 3 groups of two that had been seated recently while we waited patiently on drinks area. After explaining this situation watching lots of people being seated in front of us- the response wad simply that they were busy. They were just rude.

Ate here with a group of friends on holidays. We had breakfast and dinner here. Breakfast was very yummy! Dinner was very yummy! Service was very poor, and we waited about 45 minutes for our dinner, I was gonna give them a bad review until we got the food. The food was amazing! Love the pizza base, loved the risotto that my friend got, and the bruschetta! Will eat here again if I'm ever up there again.

I hope that this has new owners because the experience I had at Baritalia was nothing like the bottom few listed below. It was amazing. We have eaten there more than 3 times in one week. It was on par for cost compared with all the other restaurants around but on taste it was amazing.

The food and staff were awesome and they could spell!. The citrus tart was to die for. Actually we ate something different everytime and it was all to die for. The kids menu was great. More than just fish and chips of spag bol or nuggets and chips. 10/10.

This restaurant served the most amazing food I have ever tasted. So good that we ate here two nights running. They were also able to cater for my food intolerance requirements, and did so without fuss. The atmosphere was welcoming, friendly and vibrant. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and will definitely be dining here again in the future!

Where do I start? An Italian restaurant filled with waiters who are confused with how to spell Ham and Pineapple pizza! When we ordered we asked for all our meals together to find my friends side dish was now an entree to all of us on the table. I completely agree with MichelleB!

I advise the waiters to study the spelling of the menu because by the end of our order we were pretty much writing our orders on the paper! Extreme disappointment!

My aunty and sisters and I went to the Gold Coast for a holiday on Monday and as were starving we went to the first restaurant we saw. What a huge disappointment this restaurant is. We ordered our meals and the waiter said can you please open the menu so we can spell it ? You are a Waiter how can you not know how to spell?

We said to the waiter can we have our meals all at once instead we got the Herb Bread first and what a surprise they didn't know what Herb Bread looked like and it tasted disgusting. I ordered the spaghetti marinara and had to spit the first strand out because it was raw, my sisters pizzas were rock hard and the took out the wrong sauce for my aunty's pasta.

They didn't ask us how the meal was or acknowledge us. Don't ever go to this restaurant, it was a big disappointment. Word to staff I think you should all memorise the menu and get to know your dishes cause your are losing customers.

It took quite sometime before we were served and when we were, tourists walked in moved ahead and they served them. Our meals took 45mins and then they forgot one and took another 30 mins. Food was average not worth a 45 mins wait or the price. Staff were dismissive and regularly forgot about our table (drinks took 15 mins). Overall pretty disappointed. Have a look around instead.

Excellent Italian food with a lovely "homely" touch. The service was superb, friendly, helpful and efficient. I would go there again without any doubt. Highly recommend.
