Don't let the outside appearance fool you, this is one fine dining establishment. Our order took a little longer than one would normally expect but it was well worth the wait. All our dishes were well above the standard one would normally expect from a "pub" dining room. Prices are very reasonable especially considering the quality of the food.

I really enjoyed the ambience of this pub and the food was enjoyable once it arrived. The service was pretty poor, we went in a group and had to chase up our meals. One person's order didn't arrive at all and had to be enquired about. When it eventually arrived, the staff were completely indifferent to the fact that they had mucked up the order and forgotten their customer completely.

It was a Friday night, so not too busy really. However, the food was good pub food and nicely presented. I would go again to give them a second chance. The band was excellent, so I could possibly forgive them the crappy service.

Well we moved to East Geelong and how delighted were we to find this little local gem thanks to a local (Cheers Shiney). Brekky outstanding, service amazing and so real and friendly! Little sad as a Red drinker there is no love given to the Red Wine by the glass list a few we've had have been way past there best but we continue to try.

We must say the food is progressive and ever changing but sometimes the atmosphere suffers, anyway you won't find many better in Geelong!

I was very happy with the E & C, the boys provide a very cosy atmosphere. They were very accommodating in allowing me to spread out my work and stay for hours to study, kept the coffee coming (essential first thing in the morning) and didn't interrupt! :D Two thumbs up for the open fireplace.

Only been there for lunch but the food was good. The staffs were friendly and efficient and it was nice sitting inside with the huge windows open on a sunny autumn day.
