This is a beautiful looking restaurant, however, the food was poor portions were tiny and the service was shocking after waiting 20 minutes for our booked table to be clear we waited 45 minutes to be given a menu which I had to go to the bar and ask for after waiting a further 30 minutes I went to the bar to ask if we could order.
Our drinks were never served and it took 3 hours from the time we arrived at the restaurant until we received our food. The senior staffs did not offer an apology and didn't care. The food was clearly reheated and the banquet was tiny and mislabled I have never been to a greek restaurant that doesn't serve a sauce or yogurt with their meat, especially when its as dry as it was, until eating here. Other diners were even more disappointed near us and refused to pay for their meal. I definitely won't be back.

Have eaten at many Greek restaurants and must say this is at the very low end of the scale. The banquet looks great on the menu and while the food is passable, the serving sizes are minute. There were 8 of us and the food servings would have been enough for 4. There was nowhere near enough bread for the dips and cheese, we literally had one lima bean each (not exaggerating), and the dessert was barely enough to go around.
Quite astounded they feel comfortable charging the prices they do for the amount they serve. Would definitely not recommend this restaurant and will certainly not be going back.

We have just had a wonderful dinner at Bistro@310! Our waiter Matt served our group of 4. He was very welcoming, respectful, attentive and had a warm and humble presence. Great wine list, excellent range of meals, stunning food and an atmosphere that suggested the staff really enjoyed working there, which in turn helped us to relax and enjoy our night. We'll be back!

It is great when you see a beautifully presented restaurant with a great website, you think to yourself "These folk have got their act together we are in for a great meal here" However, not is all that it seems at the Bistro310. First thing that we noticed upon entering the restaurant was that it was cold, lots of diners were wearing outside jackets and the main source of heating, a lovely gas open fire was too far away from the dining area to be of any use, maybe the thermostat is in the kitchen, but I doubt that was much warmer given what we experienced next.
We order starters and main courses off of the lovely menu the starters were served on cold plates which meant that any heat they did have was quickly drawn away, the mushroom starter was nice and my dolmades were ok though they didn't have a uniform temperature and were warm at best. We said nothing as this happens and we waited on the main courses, lemon lamb and mixed souvlaki, they arrived and first taste of my lamb was cold, other end of the lamb was again warm at best, 2 day old roast potatoes that were warm on the outside and fridge cold on the inside, the other veggies were in a juice that was tepid as were the veggies, again cold plates, the lamb was in a bowl along with the veggies and juice and I could pick this up from the bottom it was barely warm, the souvlaki was the only hot thing on the table but that wasn’t going to stay that way for long due to the cold plates and cold restaurant.
That said what little we did taste was fairly tasty which made it even more disappointing really. The waitress was friendly but walked around with head down not looking to see if customers were trying to get attention, which btw they were. We sent our meals back after finding the waitress, she took the meals but after 5 minutes waiting without being told what was going on we lost all heart and left. I at least want hot fresh food when eating out, if I wanted badly reheated leftovers I would have stayed at home.
I understand that not all dishes can be freshly prepared and cooked to order but at least cook them the same day and serve them hot on hot plates, not rocket science is it? More disappointingly no effort was made to convince me that this was out of character and no effort was made to get us to try again in the future, unless of course making a big point that we weren’t getting charged for the 2 inedible mains that were sent back to the kitchen was their way of putting things right!
I e-mailed a constructive mail to the restaurant's website and not even a reply, I would have liked the courtesy of an explanation or an assurance, no reply at all. Speaks volumes really. When will restaurateurs learn, value for money, freshly prepared, well presented nicely cooked food served in a nice environment that’s what most folk want and that’s what bistro310 looks like it will deliver but doesn’t.
They have forgotten these basics and for me they have put their own needs for the easy and economical running of a restaurant above those of the people who go there to eat and have a nice experience.

Had the banquet between 4 of us and immediately regretted it. We have regularly eaten at greek restaurants in Melbourne and have rarely, if ever, been disappointed. The portions at Bistro@310 were undersized and we struggled to see anything authentically greek about it. Have had better souvlaki at a fish and chip shop for a quarter of the price.
The dessert was also disappointing from a size and quality perspective. Needed to go to the bar to order drinks given the waiting staff were unresponsive. Perhaps, the non-banquet dishes on the menu would be ok but the banquet was clearly disappointing. If you want good greek food drive down the highway to Melbourne.

Set in a lovely old building, the place has a fine dining air to it. Only a greek person could comment on the authenticity of the food but I can comment on the quality and it was excellent. If you plan on having the banquet, starve for a couple of days before hand so you have a chance to get through it. The lamb was fall apart tender (as you would expect from greek food). All in all, there were no complaints from any of us.
