I have been here a couple of times for yum cha. Its nothing to rave about. Its cooked fresh to order. However, the list is not extensive and its expensive for what they are offering. Have not eaten here at normal meal times outside but all reports from friends and family say its quite nice. The service was excellent though. The restaurant was also very well presented.

The food here is consistently good. The restaurant is nothing fancy but it is neat and clean. We have been coming to Suzy Wong's for several years and we have never had a bad meal there. Can recommend it to anyone for both take away or eat in. Its probably worth noting they don't take Visa for delivery orders, they do have eft and visa facilities for pick up and eat in orders.

Delivery takes up to an hour on busy nights so be prepared for a bit of a wait, if you can get into the restaurant to pick up on those nights its much quicker. Oh and they are kid friendly.

Very disappointed in the long wait in line to order, by the time you get to the front you have lost your appetite with frustration. Food was pretty ordinary, I agree with other review that Tavern has gone down hill since the extension, will probably not go back again which is a shame as we have frequented this pub often over the years.

Terrible place, I just came home from dinner there and had to find a review online to post at how disappointed I am! I waited an hour and 15 minutes for my meal, after waving someone down to take order, meals came out one at a time, over about a ten minute period, no one checked on how meal was, no waiter smiled or said hello.

I finished my meal, and sat there for Two HOurs before somebody cleared my plate away, I could actually see the waitresses outside the window standing around in the car park chatting, while I sat there with my filthy plate. Then they had the audacity to ask us to leave, before I'd barely had my plate cleared, or been offered dessert or coffee! I would never eat here again, to pay $30 for this was an outrage!

I order salmon they said it was grilled.

The service was fast I had the meal under 10 minutes. There was a manager standing at the counter the whole time.

I took a bite of the salmon and it tasted like smoke. So smokey I couldn't eat it. I had stout that was less smokey.

I returned it. I got a second salmon this one was cooked on the outside and raw on the inside.

When I complained I was told this is how its cooked.

The manager went and hid for a while for such a large man he was a arrogant coward.
The manager didn't give a rat, this is how the fish is cooked. We char grill it.

I will not recommend anyone go to the Baxter tavern.

Not enough variety of shops, shops opening then closing. Not enough places to sit and eat, need a proper food court. Too many real estate shops, doctors office was not needed as there is one next door.

We frequent this hotel a lot as we live nearby. I have never had a bad meal and the soup/salad is inticing. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. My only criticism is that, unless you pick your times, you usually have a long wait to order. Other than that great value.

Having been to Monta Verde a couple of times for lunch I think it is one of the best kept secrets in the area. Great food, generous sizings, affordable prices and fantastic service. It has been quite been I was there and I hope this improves for them as they are doing all the right things for their customers.

So, ordered food from Celina's through Menulog last night and received correct confirmation at 6.52pm.

I received a txt message at 7:04pm confirming the order with an expected delivery time of 7:48pm. At 8:10pm I rang Celina's to find out where our food was. The senior staff got on the phone and said they had received 10 Menulog orders at the same time and that they were busy, he was sorry but it would be another 30 minutes hopefully less.

Our food finally arrived at 8:55pm, without the drink! The driver said no one gave her one, then looked on the order and said oh, yeah, I'll be back in a few minutes with it. Even then I had to correct her on what we had paid for. I checked the food and it was wrong!

My partner rang Celina's and spoke to the senior staff. He said he would send the right food back with the drink. To which we said, it's already 9pm, we are hungry, we are eating what's here maybe next time.

The senior staff made many excuses including blaming it on Menulog because the people are hard to understand when they ring the orders through. (The Menulog site says orders are printed in the store you are ordering from, if they are calling them through instead this is false advertising). He also said they were short staffed and busy, so on and so on, plenty of excuses but no resolution.

He said the girl tried to call me to confirm the order, funny, my phone was working fine when I called them and I'd had no missed calls or messages! He was not receptive to our suggestions about fixing these issues for the benefit of all their customers, we just got more excuses. We weren't aggressive or rude.
I've done my time in a pizza shop, I know how long it takes to make and cook a pizza, two hours?! No way is that acceptable!

The drink, well it turned up at 9:28pm, so much for a few minutes! The driver gave the same excuses, almost word for word, as the senior staff when questioned on procedures.

Certainly won't be using Menulog or Celina's again. I would've cancelled the order if I could've got the money back! Food, well it was pizza, I would've gone back if they had done a better job of customer service.

By far the best Cafe in Frankston, I would even say the peninsula. Food is well thought out and everything is fresh and lovely. Family friendly, owners are lovely people, staff are so welcoming. Coffee is yummo. You have to have the breaky, we usually order a few dishes and share because it is all so inviting. I hope they stay forever.

Haven't been to Seagull for 12 months, it was looking a bit dated but I love the new paint job, still the best seafood I have tasted, love the busy ambience of this place. We normally have the banquet but you will need a big apetite to get through it all. We started coming here 15 years ago and I'm pretty sure it's the same owner.

I recently had dinner there with family and it was fantastic, the service and food were incredible. I think they have new management, definitely new staff who were very friendly but professional. Will definitely be going back!

I'm a regular Sofias customer who knows that cheap meals come at cheap quality. The calamari is great if you love chewing on your car tyres. But most of the meals taste great and the servings are massive.

The service, however, is terrible, The kids that work there need training and more professional uniforms, No one pours water for you and the cutlery is chucked on the table. Also I summoned a couple of waitresses by smiling and they chose to ignore me and continue the conversation.

If you are looking for a quick meal before a movie or going out clubbing I Highly reccomend this restaurant for its location, quick meals at great prices. Its great to duck into if you're in a rush!

Biggest rip off. Prices are ridiculously expensive for the proportions and quality. The meal that I ordered with prawns, came with One prawn!

Well, where do I start, I have been in the hospitality industry for around 20 years. I can say this with all honesty, Seagulls is probably the worst greek restaurant I have been to and I have been to alot. The service by 14-16 yo kids was pitiful. I don't want to look at some 16 year old girl in a skin tight black dress, I can go to bar 20 for that. We asked for a bottle opener and it was just placed on the table in front of my wife for her to open.

The menu is way over priced, the place was full of smoke from the char grill and the rear room was very hot and stuffy. Now the fun part the food. Not really sure what to say here other than the kitchen staff needs to go back to chef school, it was terrible. $28 for a plate of nonsense, the potatoes were dreadful, the rice was greasy, the vegetables were like a mixture of cork and rubber. The lamb was passable, just. Maybe the kitchen staff was having a bad night I am not sure, but you won't get me back again.

On the way out, no one asked if we enjoyed our meals or if everything was ok, this is what happens when you employ kids at $12 an hour to run your establish. D- for this place.

Use to work in a high end restaurant and so most dining experiences are disappointing or expensive. This was neither, so if you can deal with fake huts, a blue led waterfall and fountain then go there! It's great fun, the staff are great and the food is shockingly good.

It has a setting to die for, especially on a balmy night when you can dine outdoors. The service was very good, a vast improvement on our last visit 3 years ago. Unfortunately, the food still lets it down. The ingredients were average in quality and the preparation totally lacking in any finesse. How can you overcook a rack of lamb when it is, supposedly, cooked in a pan? Most pubs serve better.

All it needs is a good kitchen staff for this place to realise it's potential and be something special. On the evidence of our experience, it doesn't have one. The wine list is quite good, with reasonable pricing.
