Had a romantic dinner with my husband on a Saturday night at this restaurant which was recommended by a friend so we travelled across the bridge and were extremely happy as this certainly exceeded our expectations. All dishes that we both ordered were perfect in taste and presentation.
The service was great, friendly, attentive but not intrusive. It was freezing outside but it was really cosy inside. The soufflé was beautiful and light and full of flavour, best I have ever had. My husband's oysters were really fresh and plump. Both the trout and the lamb rump were cooked to perfection and accompaniments went beautifully with it. The complimentary amuse bouche was really tasty.
The chocolate tasting plate was perfect for the two of us as the helpings are very generous and although we would have loved to have a dessert each, a shared dessert finished off the meal nicely. Will definitely be coming back across the bridge again to visit this restaurant and would also like to try the special lunch menu which looks really good.

Feel like pasta or pizza for lunch, so we chose Pompel's. I have to say it was a disappointment. We ordered a Divola pizza, the base is not as good as La Disfida at Harberfield in fact no where near it, even Rosso Pomodoro is better than that. The salami topping was not good. We had the prawn pasta, it was average and need more seasoning, frozen prawn and packet spaghetti for $29, sorry nowadays they need to do better.

Dear Boho, you're a great new addition to the neighbourhood Bondi Rd strip. You're a lovely little bistro with a great look, good food and good prices. It should be a winning formula.
However, please get some staff who actually care about your diners and know the menu/wine list. Sort out your menu so that the listed items are in fact available, you can't have a good half simply not, including the wines (there's nothing wrong with a daily printed menu of what is available) and put up some velvet curtains or something to keep out the cold and the harsh street lighting outside.
I really like you and want you to stay but I'm afraid you'll be gone soon if you don't pick your socks up. There's too much competition to be getting these basic things wrong. There's just a few things to fix and then I'm sure you'd be as popular as somewhere else etc opposite you.

Its quite hilarious to get screamed at when you are asked if you want chilli on your roll. Hands down the best chicken roll in Sydney (the lines to get served are testament to this), some days though are better than others in terms of freshness. If you order a spring roll expect a bag of dripping hot oil.

Went on a voucher for 2 entrees, 2 mains, and 2 desserts for $49.
For entree we ordered the garlic prawns and chicken sekuwa. Not bad but nothing special, chicken was slightly burnt.
For mains we ordered the butter chicken and a lamb curry. The serving were ridiculously small in a tiny little metal cup around 8cms circumference and 5cms tall. The butter chicken was quite nice but the lamb curry was watery and flavourless so I had to add salt just to get more flavour but it still tasted horrible.
For dessert we ordered some donut ball in syrup and a coffee pannacotta. The pannacotta was nice but the donut thing wasn't.
Overall below average experience and wouldn't go again. Also the music they play is very annoying.

I have never writen a restaurant review before,, however, I feel compelled to based on my poor experience at this venue this morning.
I ordered the rare roast beef sandwich, however, what came out was the most overcooked, thick and cold piece of meat on a bread roll covered with rocket. Plus a tiny bowl of undressed leaves. What a disappointment as the meat was chewy and difficult to digest.
I was also particularly unimpressed with the fact that I was overcharged. My sandwich was $13.50, my partner ordered the steak sandwich for $19.50, plus a coffee and bottle of apple juice. From a $50 note I was handed $4.30 change. Either the coffee and apple juice is $12.70 or else I was short changed.
No receipts are offered so I had only realised once I returned to my table after ordering. I'm sure it's only a few dollars but the fact is that the cashier (who appeared he may have been the senior staff) does not provide receipts with purchase, which is in fact illegal.
The cakes did look nice there, so, perhaps, they should stick to that and give away making sandwiches.

Do not order delivery from this restaurant! They have the poorest service I have experienced in years! Not once, but twice (after giving them the benefit of the doubt) they had problems with delivering our order. Both times they called us after it was prepared and by the time we received it, our meals were cold. They did apologize but we will not be returning and are very disappointed.

We were curious about this place. As soon as we entered we loved it, and will definitely go there again, even if for a drink at the inviting bar out front.
The service was great, very attentive staff. We had the prawns and fresh rice paper rolls for entree, which were both nice but, perhaps, a little too 'normal'. I had the crispy pork for main, which was not what I was expecting. It was more like a salt and pepper pork! A bit too much batter for my liking. Standout dish was the lamb-shank curry. We will come here again.

We go to Buzo often, and always have good experiences. Great food, excellent service, consistently a winner. The savoy cabbage is superb.
My one complaint, I was always eat too much, big portions and no self control.
Well done Buzo.

Nice Pizza. Appalling, rude and aggressive customer service. We ordered an XL half-and-half pizza by phone, which we drove to pick up. Once home, we realised we had gotten someone else's large pizza. When we rang to explain, we were somehow accused of it being our fault that we had 'taken' someone else's pizza!
They refused to send us the pizza we had actually ordered, somehow they felt that since they had got it 'half' right with the toppings, and we had only paid enough for a large pizza (not XL), they sent us the 'other half' in the form of a small pizza.
I hope it was worth it. Never again. There are way too many other good pizza joints in Bondi. You guys need to lift your game if you want to stay ahead of the pack.

I have been a big fan of this little cafe, but I must agree with some previous reviews in that the recent renovations that have occurred seem to not only removed all the personality from the venue but also from the staff. What used to be a quaint little cafe which was great for both eat in and takeaway has now changed.
The renovation makes no sense as the layout was good beforehand but now they seem to have removed tables and put in a large surfboard shaped bench for people to share. This bench also makes ordering takeaway uncomfortable as there is nowhere to stand whilst waiting for your coffee. The cafe still has excellent coffee and the trade off to the fact that they only really had 1 good menu item (Mixed breakfast plate) and they do not put sugar into your coffee was the nice venue but this has now changed.
I cannot honestly see myself going out of my way to visit this cafe as I have done in the past. There is way too much competition for my skim latte for me to put up with bad service and a bad venue.

Food was Ok, I seem to remember the food being quite nice but on a recent trip I found the food to be lacking flavour.
My main problem was their 'Management Decision' not to allow customers to use Eftpos to pay. They will accept Visa and Mastercard but I was told that management will not allow them to accept Eftpos as payment. This made me quite angry as this is the first ever time I have been confronted with such a decision.
I was completely shocked that I was forced to leave the restaurant and walk up the street to use an Atm. This situation is a disgrace, they have the terminal in which to use Eftpos but don't allow customers to use it. This decision is even more crazy when you consider how many other Thai restaurants are in the Spot that are either just as good or better.
I will never return because of this stupid decision and this is just another example of how disconnected restaurant owners can be from their clientèle.

One of the better Yum Cha places in Sydney. Although not as big as the Chinatown venues, it has a nice selection of dishes especially with seafood choices. Service is better than average and waitresses will go out of their way to get you the dish you are after. Also a good place to take someone not familiar with yum cha as it's less intimidating than the chinatown restaurants. Could do with a few more vegetarian options. But overall recommended!

Yummy food but possibly smallest servings this side of malacca. Popularity seems to have gone to their heads, too - a complaint about the paltry size of rendang fell on deaf ears. Terrible, terrible attitude, terrible value for money, leaving a terrible taste in my mouth (which is a shame as the food is better than average).

Food was lovely, however, the staff were completely uninterested! More interested in there discussion and iPhones. Not helpful at all. Plates were left everywhere. Slapped the fish on to the grill like he didn't care when you have paid good money for it. Hope it gets better as I live around the corner.

My wife and I popped for lunch after a movie @ the Ritz this afternoon. From the specials board we both chose the Beef Daube Pie with Chocolate Mousse for $16. The menu had the price @ $20. The waiter, a very polite young French fellow, was surprised that the board was so wrong and he appropriately charged us the $16.
The pie was 'homemade' and pretty good albeit the meat a bit dry, but I didn't mind that too much. It came with a green salad dressed with a good quality balsamic vinegar. However, the mousse appeared to be a little old being thick and dry on top. It tasted Ok. The coffee was not as good as it should have been. However, it was a nice place to sit on a sunny afternoon.
Overall, our experience didn't convince us to return for an evening meal.
