We ordered special set which the steaks were all overcooked, tough and tasteless. Pricey and bad service. The miso soup tasted like water. Took forever to get your meal.
Even if you are a terrible cook at home, you could have served food better than them.

Worst restaurant I've ever been to. Service took forever and staff were rude. Then at end of meal, they made us pay $20 per person for friends that didn't turn up for booking. Overpriced and I've had takeaway Thai for a fraction of the price.

The waitress keep stuffing up the order. She's cute and has a great smile but I just want my food. We had to wait 40 minutes for entrees and an hour for main. We were planning to have an early night after dinner but the whole affair took nearly 3 hours. The food taste above average but my marinara pasta is overcooked and tasteless. I won't go back again.

What I actually enjoyed most from Meat & Wine Co was the bruschetta and creme brulee. Those were actually better than any other I've tasted but the steaks were only so-so. We did have a really friendly and attentive waitress though so my overall impression wasn't too bad.

I went to Blue Fish on Good Friday with my boyfriend, we had a voucher for wine and prawns. I called to make a reservation approximately a week before, and told the person on the phone three times we had a voucher, and he said that is no problem and that I could use on a holiday.
Went to the restaurant on Good Friday, was seated, and proceeded to wait around 15 minutes for someone to come over and help us, to their credit it was extremely busy. After someone finally came over, I told them I had a coupon, and they said they didn’t think I could use it, the waiter checked with the senior staff then came back and said no you can’t use it.
I then asked to speak to the senior staff, and politely stated that I had called and the person on the phone said it would be fine etc, and he looked at me and said “fine whatever, I guess we can take it” in extremely sarcastic voice, while walking away from the table, I felt so embarrassed as quite a few people around me heard his comment, I just got up and left. I will not be going back to this restaurant again.

Went along expecting an amazing Indian meal given the price and reviews. We arrived and the inside area is tired and feels very plain/open. We got a table outside which was nice as we over looked Darling Harbour.
The service was awful, not welcoming and they gave the impression you're just another customer so hurry up and order then leave. Not what you expect when paying $29 for a curry. Food was tasteless, myself and my husband ordered 2 different meals and both tasted bland. The rice was fine. We would not recommend to anyone, even if it was cheap. Will not be returning.

Food was not fresh and undersized, ordered chili mussels as a main and they were the size of peas and some had no mussels at all! We complained and heard every excuse under the sun. We were still charged for them and also charged for our complimentary beer. Its a ripoff and would never go near the place again!

Everytime I walk past this place its normally empty and came here as a last resort due to all the other restaurants having a 1hr wait on a table during mothers day. Orders were taken promptly which was promising but everything went downhill from there, the rice came out within 5 minutes but the food took about 45 min 1hr to arrive and didn't come altogether.
Service was non existent not unless you hail them down as they fly past you. As for food it wasn't bad but you can get better for alot less. Views are nice though.

My experience was Baaaad! The music looked like from a punk rock join, loud, fast and bad. The waiters looked more like pub bouncers all in black? gadgets hanging from their belts? with ear pieces?. Poor kids spend the time running, to the music's beat, (literally) for a few bucks per hour. No "service".
The food, chicken breast two styles, plus risotto, boiled rice porridge same sauce, same taste, the rice, same sauce for all except the lasagna. A mini lasagna. The red wine by the glace supposed to be from SA, tasted as good as cask wine. 4 people one drink each @ $8.00. Over $214.00, most food left on the plate, word $60 in total, to be generous. Just try it once if you are loaded! Bruschetta 7points.

Set in a great location, but let down by the fact they would not let us sit outside (tables were not plated).
Service started really well and meals started coming out quick. But then without notice our ribs did not come out (had to ask waiter then he told us), then our dessert of red bean and rice balls seemed to take a while.
The dumplings and main chicken stir fry were pretty good and full of flavour. We also got sang choi bow chicken which was ok. Pricey because of its location, but they could really do with some better standard of service to match.

I've been here a few times and it never fails to disappoint. While the vibe and venue are both great, the food fails to impress and service is extremely slow. Can find much better and authentic italian.

Loooooooong wait. Always busy! But food is delicious! I love the atmosphere/venue. Service is easy, cos you just push a button when you want service. But cos they are so busy you would wait up til an hour for your main food. Starters and drinks come out quick enough. Ordered the 1 metre pizza between 6 girls and it was amazing! Loved it! So coming back again just for the pizza. We had heaps of left overs. Maybe 8 girls could have finished it and the pizza was $90. so only $15 each.

Meal was very average but the service was right up there with the worst I have ever experienced. After being seated we waited twenty minutes for anyone, then ordered three glasses of an italian sparkling. Another twenty minutes went by then a waiter brought us three glasses of wine, when I asked he said it was sparkling then walked away, it obviously wasn't! I then asked another waitress and after almost begging she agreed the wine wasn't sparkling, thirty minutes later we got the sparkling. Then my younger daughter asked the waitress for a lemonade and she replied I'm not a waitress and walked off only to get drinks for another table.
At that point we couldn't get out of there fast enough, paid for our average meals and left to have dessert else where, we would never go back.

We had friends visiting overseas, and we were very unfortunate to have dined at this place. This place was horrible. The service was horrible. The waitress that served us had attitude. The steak we ordered was tough, and not cooked to how we order it. The ambience was horrible. And staff were playing computer games on their phone at the bar.
I would never go back here again, or recommend it. Even tho the view was good, the service and food was appalling.

Went there for a friends Birthday. We sat outside and got great views of the fireworks and Darling Harbour sites. The staff were initially quick and friendly. However, with making cocktails queues quickly started to form and we waited ages for our drinks. The biggest disappointment were the sharing platters, they mainly consisted of bread with a couple of pieces of meat and a few olives chucked in.
We were seriously ripped off at $15 a plate. I'd rather pay more and get something decent! Also, there was the usual fights outside, not sure where the bouncers were? Not a great vibe to end a pleasant evening.

I've been here many times to celebrate with my girl friend. The food is always delicious, my favourites are the fried snapper and grilled platter. The wine selection is extensive and the desserts are something you will want to save some room for.
