Worst dine out experience ever. Very rude staff and management. Will never go again. Won't recommend to anyone.

My companion and I stumbled by chance onto this new Thai restaurant on Thomas Street, in Dandenong. Actually, the only reason I suggested getting dinner in Dandenong that night (last Saturday) was that I wanted to avoid the Freeway, where there had been a major traffic incident.
We were surprised to see this Thai restaurant there. Although there were no customers inside, we decided to be brave and try it anyway. Luckily we were not disappointed. Actually it exceeded our expectations.
The service was very attentive, without being intrusive. (Yes, it's easier when you're the only couple dining, but still, it was good). We ordered fishcakes to share as an entree, which were very good. I had a main of lamb curry, which was very nice. I ate this with steamed rice, and also roti. The roti turned out to be a single item, and had an oily appearance, but tasted fine.
My companion had some kind of sour steamed fish dish, which she liked. I should mention that although she is not Thai, she is well familiar with authentic Thai food, and has high standards, and she was satsified with the food. The only matter she could deduct points for was that they didn't have a couple of less-common items on their menu that she enjoys eating when she can find them (one was a main, and the other was a dessert involving mango).
At the end of all this we were pretty full, and couldn't face dessert. However, I had a flat white coffee, which was also fine. Made on a Gaggia machine, using Coffee Mio coffee.
The only thing really to complain about was that initially the heating was set to 24 degrees C, which we found much too warm considering we were dressed for the cold night. However, at the time of placing our order we asked if it could be turned down, and the adjusted setting of 20 degrees C was just nice.

My partner and I dined here for the first time last night. It was my first experience with African food, probably the first of many.
Our waiter was a real character which made the experience all the more enjoyable for us. He helped us out by recommending dishes for us to share, all of which were full of flavour. I refrained from using my cutlery, opting to go authentic by eating the meat, lentils and vegetable with their traditional bread.
You could be forgiven for initially thinking you've been served a basket of hand-towels, but let me tell you the bread is delicious. I've decided to name it 'crumpet pancake' bread, and if you give Gibe a go you'll understand why.
For a grand total of $40 dollars we'd enjoyed a beer each and had very satisfied tummies. Big thumbs up!

This is one experience I will not be forgetting soon. We were welcomed with warm smiles and service to match. It was our first time eating afghani food, so we were given some recommendations. We ordered three dishes between the two of us: the afghan aloo, tikka and rice with dhal. It was simply delicious, so much so I've signed up to eatability to write this review. A little gem in the heart of dandenong. Just remember to BYO.

I just loved this place. From the delicious Tandoori mushroom entrée served on a hot plate to the Indian dance music playing in the background it was an enjoyable experience. The food was so tasty and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is so relaxed you can almost forget you're in a restaurant. Lovely service too. I'll be back again in the future for sure.

I went here with my Mother at midday on a Saturday. We were the only diners.
Food was delicious, and served in a very timely fashion. Ambience was okay... modern, pop Indian dance music was a little annoying, but was very much in the background and wasn't off-putting.
Service was friendly and quick. 1 chicken curry, 1 paneer curry, naan and rice for $30. Couldn't finish it all, so out of the leftovers, got an extra little meal to take home.
Will definitely go back. Really enjoyed the visit. Easy to find, 50-100 meters from train station.

After a Saturday morning visit to the amazing Dandenong Market, and having decided we just had to have Indian food for lunch, we stumbled on this small gem of a restaurant. Chandni Chowk, in Dandenong’s “Little India” is in no way pretentious, laminex tables, an open archway into the next-door DVD rental shop (specializing entirely in Bollywood-type movies), and with the proprietor’s family and friends all around, we felt completely welcome and at home.
Three main courses, lamb rogan josh, butter chicken and a wonderfully-flavoured goat kadai, plus rice and garlic naan, were more than enough for the four of us, at a total price of $34.00. We’ll be back.

I dined here with family last night for my Mum's birthday and none of us could fault the food or the service. My Mum really enjoyed herself and let the owner know we would definitely be back again. I'd been prior to this and never had a bad meal. The servings are very generous for the price. Mains are around $10-$16. Highly recommended!

Very tasty fresh food, clean kitchen in view of the dining tables. Love being able to wash my hands in the restaurant (not in the toilet) and eat with my hands.

Salesman actually gave me false information about a vehicle. Extremely pushy about a purchase. Ended up purchasing elsewhere and very glad I didn't give them my business. Would not recommend.
