We know that lunch is rubbish at this place, but at least the breakfast used to be edible. You'd think that if the food was so bad we wouldn't go back, but the location is absolutely perfect. It's one of the few dining places in the world where you are right smack bang on the beach. But after our breakfast last week I don't think we can go back. We ordered the pancakes and the Deck breakfast. The pancakes were from one of those god awful pre-mix things. They were Huge but totally ordinary.

My Deck breakfast, sausage, bacon, the usual was Awful. The bread was supposed to be sourdough, but it was fluffy and crunchy at the same time, not chewy and unctuous like proper sourdough. The hash browns naturally were out of a packet, the sausages were dreadful, etc, etc. I could go on but I can't be bothered.

The food here is simply not acceptable and I really wish the owners would read these reviews and respond and Do something about it. This is one of my favourite breakfast spots in the world and I don't want to lose it. PS even the coffee was worse than ordinary.

I come here at least once or twice a week most weeks. The beef cashew nuts would have to be my favorite dish whilst the curry puffs there are also really good. I always find the food to be very filling and for a $10 cooked meal and a bottle of water it definitely beats a lot of eateries in terms of value for price.

The only downside to this place is you want to keep on coming back for more rather than exploring other eateries.

Very appalling service and bad food. Lunch took more than 45 minutes to arrive on a less than busy day. When it finally arrived it left us more than underwhelmed: it was cold, bland and very fatty. The interior could use a massive overhaul or at least a decent clean up. Such a shame for such a prime location.

Totally agree with Jamie M and mmmmyum below. Food less than ordinary, staff couldn't give a rat's and every surface is absolutely filthy. A disappointing waste of my time and money.

I didn't even realise Collaroy had another pizza shop until I wondered past one day and noticed the large sign on the side of the building. Always keen to try new things I went back the next night (a Friday night) to my surprise the place was full and we had to wait for a table. The friendly waitress offered us a drink while we waited for a short time.

The food is very simple but done superbly. The kitchen has been cleverly designed so you can sit at a bar while watching what we assumed was the owner make pizzas. This was later confirmed as he came out later on to see how our meals were. Burnt butter gnocchi and chorizo calzone highly recommended!

I love Dragonfly! The food is fantastic and the service is flawless. I live in Parramatta and drive all the way to Collaroy just for the food! It is so worth the drive. booking is important because they are really busy on Fridays and Saturdays. I highly recommend the Barramundi ginger with shitake mushroom and the Pork belly with papaya salad! Yum!

We love Stella Kitchen and have taken a number of friends there who are equally impressed. Having previously lived in Leichhardt and eating regularly at the better cafes in Norton St and in Haberfield we struggled for years to find a 'real italian' pizza on the Northern Beaches and Stella does it! If you're a fan of the take away pizza places with heaps of weird toppings (like pineapple)forget it this is not the place for you but if you love a simple prosciutto and real mozzarella and not much else on a pizza then you will love it.

The meals we have sampled there have also been excellent! This is an Italian style restaurant not an 'Aussie' version of Italian, and I can say we have had worse food in Italy!

My First time dining here at Rupee Room and it was amazing, not your ordinary local indian restaurant, the food is diverse with a range of flavours I would definitely recommend the Barramundi, it is a little more expensive than your regular but far better. We went on a sat night without a booking and had to wait for a table for 40 minutes so I recommend making a booking.

Poor service and food was definitely below average. Something as simple as a caesar salad tasted horrible - let alone the steak and fish. The location would surely be the only thing bringing people in - as it did me. Definitely would never give the place another go and not recommended. Staff also could make aware customers on the phone that ID is required for all guests - or a member of the club can sign people in.

Disappointing! Whilst the service was efficient the meals became indistinguishable. We ordered samosas as a starter and they came with what looked and tasted like soy sauce....maybe it Was soy sauce! We then had 3 mains and could not tell which was the beef, chicken or pork! They all looked and tasted the same. For the money why are serves of Indian always so small?

The best Italian place in the Northern Beaches. Unassuming, unpretentious. Food is spectacular! Authentic Italian food. Attentive service. The chicken porcini was especially good.

Went on a Monday night. Came here for my fathers birthday. Everybody who came was over 18. We bought our own wine and my mum, dad, sister and I had a glass. As soon as it was poured we had the head waiter come up to our table and demand to see some ID from my sister (who is 23) and myself (I am 21). We found this to be very rude as he was pushy and in our face, saying the restaurant would "get a fine if an enforcer came".

How often do enforcers come to check people's ID on a Monday night at a family dinner? He refused to let my sister have her glass of wine as she did not think she would need her ID at a local restaurant for a family dinner. Not only was the service by the head waiter shocking, the food was bland, overpriced and not big enough.

A member at our table ordered the special of "Mushroom Risotto". There was no mushrooms in his dish at all. We all left hungry and disappointed and will definitely not be back.

This place is amazing. It's a little place with only a few tables but the food is spectacular and so very cheap. Run by a husband/wife team they are both very friendly always and will accommodate you with anything they can. A must!

Beautiful Food. Very authenically italian, especially the pizza! The manager seems to be really on the ball. Can get a little noisy if busy but then it's that kind of restaurant. Will definitely be back.

Have been to this salon mainly for waxing but it has a really nice atmosphere and all the girls are lovely. A few of my friends now go there and their experience was just as good. Highly recommend.

Purchased take away last night, and very, very disappointed... it was the worst Thai, and up there with one of the worst meals we have eaten! Should be re-named 'Tasteless Thai.' Apart from the money sacks, which were very nice, the main courses were very bland and disappointing. Didn't think it was possible to get Thai Pad wrong, but they certainly did.The restaurant looks classy,clean etc and staff were friendly, but as they always say- "you can't judge a book by it's cover". Do not waste your money and go there.

Once you've had pizza here, nothing else comes close. It is consistently good and the service is always friendly, attentive and helpful. They make great gluten free dough too. Try the Siciliano and the satay chicken. Unlike most other pizza places, the salads are worth coming for on their own too. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
