I remember I had a mediocre meal there. But my friend wanted indian food, so we thought we gave it another try. Food was tasty enough, reasonable size. I ordered a small rice, since my friend ordered naan as well. The waitress was on about whether we should order rice for each, as rice is per head. But the menu did not specify that is the case. I thought I stick to my selection. It turned out more than enough, so don't let them talk you into something else. Will I go back? may be only when I crave for Indian food.

Helpful wait staff but on the busy evening we were there, it seemed that the kitchen was running at full capacity so the timing was just a little erratic! Comprehensive menu of Indian dishes, with our choices being competently prepared and presented. The wine list is fairly basic. In short, it ticks all the boxes for what it is, a busy suburban restaurant.

The Place: reasonably well appointed, nice enough decor, very well placed on Dickson's "eat street". Very surly waiter met us as we entered and guided us to a table, continued to be surly when ordering, seemed positively insulted when we asked him out of interest which spices were in the chai (and, he obviously had no clue either).

The Food: We made a point of ordering southern dishes and received standard, middle of the road food. Tasted ok, chef was still light on the chili even though we assured the waiter that we wanted "hot" vindaloo.

Overpriced. Service was the real downer, wouldn't go back seeing how many other Indian places there are to try in Canberra.

Food was terrible and some of the staff were extremely rude. I was trying to have an intimate dinner with my girlfriend and one waiter slammed the food down on the table with little respect. The food was overpriced and we were disappointed with the indifference from the senior staff when paying for the bill. He rudely told us the total cost without the least bit of friendliness. We would not recommend this restaurant to anyone unless we didn't like them.

Food was OK but we were constantly interupted by at least three different waiters. After ordering, the food came back in about 2 minutes. Then when we finished we kept getting asked if we wanted dessert. In the end we left just to get some peace and quiet.

We eat here often with our children and we always have a lovely meal. The food is very tasty. Our favourites are chicken tikka, bhuna lamb curry, beef vindaloo, and butter chicken for the kids. The naan is quite good too.
