We started out as a group of 6 but ended up with 11 of us. The staff were polite and helpful, arranging extra tables and settings for us. The restaurant is light and airy. Quiet pleasant really. Parking out the front makes it super easy to go to.

Most of us did the banquet. The food came out quite quickly, and there was lots of it. I found the vegetable curry extremely tasty. Overall a good experience. We will be back I'm sure.

Hello friends,

We just shifted to Canberra from Brisbane 4 weeks ago. I live near Belconnen and obviously tried Taj Agra Indian restaurant once couple of days back. The curry we ordered was absolutely 'DISGUSTING' in taste and it was stale. It was stinking so much that my wife was about to vomit after her fist nibble. Nothing but water....no salt...no hint of any spice at all. This is the worst Indian restaurant we have ever dined anywhere in Australia.

I complained over the phone soon after tasting it but response from the waiter was very cold. we were very furious and went to the restaurant back with the curry and I asked the waiter to taste it in front of me!! He did it and he felt the curry was awful and was nothing that they usually serve he said. I even asked to allow me to go to the dine in customers and ask for their review on the spot. The waiter became very nervous at this suggestion and wanted to get out of this situation and then finally he offered us a replacement curry and apologised for what we went through.

Sorry but service was absolutely pathetic and we being Indian expected much better food and even more so the follow up response. Taj Agra failed in both aspects for us. Never going there again and warn everyone to be cautious especially to Indians as this restaurant don't care for 'desis'....
