Overview

Set in a pavilion on the edge of the lily pond, fringed by bulrushes and sculptures, in the tranquil national gallery of australia sculpture garden beside Lake Burley Griffin.

The sculpturegarden restaurant is renowned for its famous and enchanting japanese fog sculpture, which provides a unique atmosphere as the mist floats and swirls above the pond and through the restaurant.

The sculpturegarden restaurant is totally enclosed by a permanent marquee, which is heated during winter.

Trippas White Catering @ sculpturegarden restaurant offer a modern Australian menu inspired by quality, locally sourced ingredients matched with fine wines from the Canberra region.

Current gallery exhibitions also motivate and flavour the menu. Treat your guests to our French inspired menu during the DEGAS MASTER OF FRENCH ART exhibition [12th Dec 2008 – 22nd March 2009]

The sculpture garden restaurant is open to the public for lunch wed-sun and brunch on weekends.

This restaurant is a well kept secret in Canberra. The food is to die for and I highly recommend the pork belly and croquette + pannacotta for dessert. We came for sunday lunch and the japanese fog sculpture was on during lunch service. Just magical!
