The food is good but what makes the whole experience amazing is the service. The staff is very friendly and ensure you have a pleasant dinning experience. You must try the daal. It is just amazing.

Every dish tastes the same, the only variation being the type of meat, and if you want it mild, medium or hot. Noisy and overrated, sorry. There's a better restaurant just next door!

Although I'm from Sydney, I have eaten here many times. I used to find excuses to go to Canberra so I can eat here. The food is still good, but used to be a lot better, yet prices have increased significantly. Service was also a little worse the last time I went. Haven't been back since and don't plan to.

Easily the best Indian in Canberra! I had been meaning to try Rama's for a while and finally did this week for a work lunch (banquet). It sure didn't disappoint, Beef vindaloo and chicken korma were awesome, as was the service. The lady in charge and young waitress were friendly and very attentive, even with a table of 20-odd, asking us how spicy we wanted the curries, whether we had enough food, drinks etc. Simple things, but sadly lacking in a number of restaurants around town.

Thanks guys, will definitely be making the trek down to Pearce more often now!

We used to be regulars and haven't been for a long time until the other night. It was great, beautiful food, attentive staff (even though it was busy with a couple of large groups), good value for money. We won't wait so long to return this time.

My favourite Indian fare in Canberra. Who would have thought suburbs could have treasures like this. Having eaten here numerous times the consistency in the quality and taste in food is exemplary.

Personally I prefer to be inside amongst the vibrant colours, aromas, volume and people rather than risk the cold outside.

Banquets are great and even the cheapest feels like a feast. Groups are well catered for always worth booking as Ramas is consistently packed.

Entrees are varied and interesting especially the hearty samosas with their great dipping sauce. The Palak Paneer is highly recommended. The chicken korma must be the best seller with its well balanced spice and creaminess. If you tend towards vegetarian Ramas will mix and match and that delicious korma sauce will complement a vegetable dish if that’s your desire. It’s true the owner must remember most of her customers and she will always try to accommodate to requests. You should not walk out hungry or hard done by.

If I have a concern with Ramas it would be the Fijian-Indian nature of its food - watch your waist as coconut milk and quantity abound. Can’t wait to eat there again!

What a find. I am from Sydney and get to Canberra for work 3 - 4 times a year. This is definitely on my must do places each time I am in town. The food is wonderful. Prawns with spinach are exceptional, as is the Vindaloo. Service was good, with exceptional service from the host who remembered me from the previous time, as well what I ordered! Not bad at all! Great food at a good price. My mouth is watering thinking of my last meal there. I wish it was closer or a franchise was nearer to me! I will definitely be back to this great find.
