This place had the most awful service of anywhere I've ever been. And that's saying something as someone who eats out at least 2-3 times per week for the past 10+ years.

The waitresses were disgustingly rude and management seemed to care nothing about this either. As only one example of many, I was handed (as well as a number of others at our table) a boiling hot plate with no warning as to the heat and nearly dropped it all over myself. When I told the waitress it would have been nice to have some warning, she responded with a filthy look and left the table.

Absolutely revolting. The food was good, but not worth the discomfort and anger at being treated as a nuisance for daring to visit their restaurant when they'd obviously prefer to be elsewhere. Pathetic.

Been to Pizzazz twice now and both experiences have been negative.

Today however, was just surprising. It took the waitress twenty minutes and a wave from us to even venture over to our table to order coffees. When she did serve us there was no smile or greeting what-so-ever, our being there seemed a great inconvenience to her.

Then, to make matters worse, when the coffees came they were undrinkably cold. Instead of having to go through the surly waitress, my friend took the coffee to the barista to request a hotter drink. Mistake!

Instead of serving the customer, the barista served his ego. He insisted that there was no way he would make a coffee any hotter than he had provided to us and instead said the only thing he could do for us was put it in the microwave! All I can say is that at least the microwave made the coffee drinkable and thank god its hard to mess up raisin toast!

Safe to say I won't be trying for third time lucky when it comes to Pizzazz! Rudeness and egos aren't something I like served with my breakfast!

We come here about every three weekends for breakfast and even though we're very fickle, we will totally queue for this place. The service is patchy, the decor is ugly but the food changes every week with a list of specials in addition to a regular line up. We're starting a campaign to put the breakfast burritos on the regular menu and would cry loudly in the middle of the floor if the honeycomb, pear and ricotta pancakes are ever removed. Don't come here on a Sunday. We don't want to have to wait even longer.

Pizzazz's food is fine, the pancakes are a highlight. But on most weekends the queue for a table (and for service) is quite long, what you get is not worth the 30-40 minutes wait. Also, they seemed to have changed their pricing in the new year but forgot to update the prices on their menus. In addition to being charged more than we expected, the waitress didn't even try to apologise, she just insisted on charging the higher price, that attitude was really arrogant and off-putting.

I used to come here regularly until my December visit. The quality of the food was a huge disappointment and not what I am normally used to. The cafe was not busy so I cannot put it down to the kitchen being rushed! Such a pity!
