Pistachio Dining at Torrens is the first solo venture of local chef David Keeley, former executive chef at Sabayon, and brings a beautiful dining experience to the Woden Valley.
David describes his approach as "a commitment to consistently maintain the highest standards. I believe in freshness and simplicity, wherever possible using the best local produce".
The restaurant is conveniently situated in the geographical heart of Canberra with free parking at the front door.

I've dined at Sabyon several time under Chef David so looked forward to dining at Pistachio and I wasn't disappointed. He sure knows how to cook and I always find his meals to be enjoyable. Price is ressonable for a casual fine dining experience.

I had the brulee and it was just to die for, we ended up ordering a second to share it was so good! Next time I'm going to get the Sorbet, it looked amazing.

Decent entree, great main course with just the right amount of seasoning and splendidly cooked to order. Unfortunately, the desserts left quite a bit to be desired, the brulee, for instance, was more like creme anglaise soup with a cold crust, just not how I'd expect, or like, it.
Floor staff did little to set a calm atmosphere, they buzzed about with what seemed to be no agenda and we were asked 7 times if everything was ok, once would have sufficed.
