I am extremely grateful to the friends who introduced us to Paprika, as it is a real treasure. We have been there often and every dish that we have had has been really delicious and well-presented. There is a good range of choices at very reasonable prices - and all delicious. The owners are very welcoming, attentive and helpful. I have been recommending Paprika to all my friends, and even had my 70th birthday party there as I have been so impressed.

We went as a group early on a Tuesday night. It was fairly quiet but some of us are regulars and have always had great food and service. That night, the food was great, the service fantastic. We took a takeaway menu on the way out and will be back again to dine.

There are some gems worth trying, best wonton soup ever. All dishes that we have tried have been very nice. Very friendly couple ensure you are well looked after for drinks etc. A touch more expensive than your average chinese but worth it.

I went there first time food was good, but ordered only the normal dinner menu. Then took my friend and went there for lunch few days later and ordered the tapas mene, very disappointing, food was warm, felt like it was left over food reheated, but not hot at all. Stale food, was very very disappointed since we drove from nottingham only to eat the tapas mene.

Paprika is a must taste restaurant I was almost getting sick of chinese food until I tried this restaurant. It has a completely unique taste like no other the crispy chicken with special sauce is to die for. From entrees such as the satay chicken sticks to mains such as the malaysian king prawns to the banana crepes for dessert this place is by far my favourite place to eat.

We went looking for the Chef House (an old Canberra favourite) and found Paprika there instead, an Asian restaurant with a Malaysian emphasis. Service was wonderful, possibly because we were the second table in there only. The food, whilst not mindblowingly good, was tasty, satisfying and good value for money, for 5 of us (and a couple of bottles of wine) the total bill was just over $100 and that included dessert.


We ordered the crispy pepper chicken in cream and mushroom sauce, sambal tofu and eggplant (my favourite dish), a regular chinese style chilli beef and a very good lamb and spinach curry. For desserts, a few had the banana fritters which received good murmurings. Another had the sago pudding with coconut cream which she found disappointing, mainly because she prefers sago warm. I had the sticky black rice and coconut cream pudding which, although not the best I've ever had, was still quite delicious and a nice way to end the meal without feeling over-stuffed.

Corkage was reasonable, $5 per bottle. The owners of this restaurant were very keen to please and provide us with a good dining experience.
